♡ Chapter 25 ♡

~Time Skip~

It was already getting dark and I still couldn't find Jungkook. My head was going in circles for the boys, I couldn't help but feel compassion for them. They went through so much but managed to survive all these centuries, with the hope that one day they will find the answers to their parent's death.

I got deeper into the forest and remembered Jungkook's favorite place, I couldn't see anything so I called some fireflies to guide me along the way. They made the path brighter for me to go.

I flew in the direction that the fireflies pointed, and I could finally find him.

"Jungkook" I called him with pain in my voice

He was lying in the middle of the forest, looking at the stars, lost in his thoughts. He looked so disturbed a while ago, and now he looks peaceful, I felt relieved. When he noticed my presence, he stood up.

"Beautiful, what are you doing here at this hour?" Jungkook said worriedly.

"You went out so suddenly, I went after you but didn't find you anywhere. I was so worried. I thought something bad had happened to you." I told him giving him a big hug.

He immediately hugged me back and placed his head near my neck. I could hear the rhythm of his heart, my favorite melody.

"Sorry to worry you love, it's just that-" Jungkook started, but I interrupted him.

"I don't need you to explain anything to me, I understand. I'm just happy that I found you, safe and sound" I said kissing him on his chest, directly at his heart.

Jungkook's eyes softened and brought me closer, hugging me tighter, leaving all his scent on me. He let out a little growl of satisfaction after scenting me.
