♡ Chapter 2 ♡

After waking up, I stretched my whole body and did my daily routine. I took a bath and made myself a delicious breakfast.

Today I had to keep a low profile since I was going to town to buy supplements for my home. Usually, fairies use supplements directly from nature, but I like the things humans sell in town, and I like exploring their territory. So I finished eating and put on clothes suitable for going out.

You might wonder how humans don't realize what I am, right? Fairies have different types of powers. Some have the power to heal plants, others to speak with animals, and others to control wind and water. Being the only one of my kind, I have the power of all those fairies, including my shield, but I keep it a secret for my safety. I can put up a shield myself and that prevents humans from recognizing me.

You might also wonder how I got to know about my powers, right? When I turned 15, I began to experience my first powers.

At the age of 15

I was walking through the forest searching for some fruits and flowers for my home when suddenly a baby deer surprised me. I got scared for a moment but what made me surprised was the fact that he spoke to me and I understood him. He was searching for food, I had an apple in my basket so I gave it to him, and he left after eating it.

After that incident, I started to study about types of fairy powers and started to practice. I was so curious if I was able to get all of the powers and little by little I improved. I started with water, then I tried to heal plants and make them grow, and lastly air.

But there was one element left that I couldn't get still, fire. No fairy has ever had such power, at least not anymore. Legends say that the last fairy possessing such power was killed by a powerful creature, a dragon. Since then, I only practiced my other powers so I could get them in control.

Now that I'm 21, I'm able to have control over my powers completely. After I finished getting ready, I took a basket and a cape to go to town. The road was a little long, but it was not something I couldn't endure. When I arrived at the town, there were a few people, not many, everyone was buying what they needed and then they left.

Humans aren't the friendliest but it's better this way, the least I want is to attract someone's attention. I didn't want to stay too long in there so I went shopping right away. I bought food, new clothes, and some accessories.

While looking at the accessories I noticed one necklace in particular, it was a beautiful pendant with gold and a heart-shaped red stone, for some reason, the colors reminded me of the mysterious man of my dreams. Thinking about him, my heart started beating furiously again, I honestly don't know what's happening to me. Since I had the dream, I couldn't stop thinking about him, no matter how hard I tried.

I was willing to buy the necklace, but I didn't have much money so I didn't buy it, I looked at it one last time and left, without noticing that a pair of golden eyes were watching my every movement, not leaving my figure.

I was in town shopping with my six hyungs, we all had to buy some things for our home. Since we aren't normal people, we had to be careful because one wrong move and we get killed. It's not safe for us the be walking freely in human lands.

I was walking through an jewelry store when I suddenly saw a very familiar figure. When I got closer I realized that it was the girl I had been taking care of since last night, my little fairy. Today she looks even more beautiful, I couldn't help but smile watching her. The first time I saw her was yesterday, during the day.

I was walking through the forest looking for something to eat, when suddenly I heard a beautiful voice, and when I realized it I saw a unique and incomparable creature, a fairy with beautiful golden wings.

She looked so ethereal, and I felt like my heart started beating very fast. It was something that had never happened to me, but I was sure that she was the cause of my racing heart. I stared at her for a while until she left somewhere. I decided to follow her, for some reason, I didn't want her to get hurt.

She got to her home that was hidden, I thought it was smart of her since she could have her privacy. When night fell upon the forest, I decided to leave, but not after glancing at her one last time. For some reason, I felt that the moon was trying to tell me something but I didn't pay much attention to it. I left without knowing that this beautiful fairy was going to change my life for the better.
