♡ Chapter 60 ♡

Jungkook's P.O.V.

We all got to the cave and for some reason, my heart was beating with great speed.

"What could possibly be that belongs to me?" I said in a whisper watching the cave with mixed feelings.

I felt a slight squeeze in my hand and looked at my princess giving me an assuring smile. After seeing that beautiful smile it made all my worries fade into the air.

"Everything will be fine, love. We are with you always," Y/N said, making her eyes shine in the sunlight.

I grabbed her hand even tighter feeling my heart fill with warmth and happiness. I looked at my hyungs who were also encouraging me to go in, and Rosy gave me thumbs up.

I took a deep breath and nodded.

"Let's go," I told everyone.

What was once Marcus's palace, now it was only a normal cave where everything was filled with flora and fauna. Birds flew back and forth to build their homes, while squirrels ran wild and free through the trees to get food.

"Wow, who would have thought this was a demon's castle before, now it looks beautiful," Y/N said looking around with wide and bright eyes.

"Cute," I said in my mind because I knew she was going to hear it.

I looked at Y/N who turned red, she became ten times more adorable. I smiled lovingly at her, she's actually the love of my life. I felt like I was a kid again, all in love and head over heels for her. I was watching with adoration and devotion until Rosy's voice brought me back to reality.

"Hey, what's that?" Rosy said all of a sudden.

I looked in the direction she was pointing and right in the center of the cave there was light pointed directly at something that looked like a jar. I decided to approach to see it in more detail. It was right on a shiny rock, and I was amazed by the design of it. The jar was white, with a golden design of an extensive landscape, and above it was a golden dragon. It was beautiful and mysterious at the same time.

"Is this what Princess Solaris meant?" asked Y/N who was next to me watching the jar.

"I think so," I whispered while keeping my attention to the jar.

Something in me felt an attraction to it, as if I was captivated by its meaning, but mostly by what was inside. I traced my fingers above the design when it started to shine as it felt my touch. I took my hand back as soon as the jar opened out of nowhere, I watched with shock in my eyes.

Author's P.O.V.

Indeed the jar was what the Golden Fairy meant. It belonged to him because inside it contained something he loved with all his heart.

The jar opened for the moment and a burst of fire came out of it. It passed near Jungkook's body before leaving the cave. Jungkook's breathing got stuck in his throat when he felt that contact, causing his gaze to go straight towards the cave entrance.
