After care

*Ollie's pov*

Slipping into the kitchen, I open draws trying to find something to feed my girlfriend. "What time is Mum and Dad coming back?" I ask my brother Tadhg who was perched on the sofa in the next room with his girlfriend. "Can't you see me in the middle of something?" He asks pulling back from Leah's lips. The door was open so I did notice obviously but it was always my job to make him pissed in someway or another. "Oops sorry Tadhg!" I smirk. "Ah! One of these days I'll kill you."
"Tadhg!" Leah says slapping his arm. "Fine. Physically impaired."
"Better but still bad."
"Whatever." My brother says turning back and almost automatically, the kissing continued. "Hey, Shan?" I see her walking into the kitchen. "What time are John and Edel back?"
"Around 10ish. I would say." She smiles picking up a protein shake and then makes her way back to the door. "Thanks." I call out after her. "Of course!" She shouts over her shoulder. Not having my adoptive mother to cook us anything was definitely in my con list. Accepting my fate I walk back up to my room. "No joy?" Ami's cute voice filled my ears. "I have a better idea. Chinese or American?" I ask her.
"I'm feeling a burger."
"A burger it is." I say tapping away at my phone. Going to the UberEats app, I select 3 burgers, some fries and 2 drinks. Knowing from experience, I order more than what was necessary. You never know how hungry a girl until she actually eats. I got that from Aoife. "What movie you wanna watch?" I ask my girl, slidding into bed next to her. "Hmmm. Imma say '10 things I hate about you'."
"Not a rom com." I roll my eyes playfully.
"Too late." She sticks her tongue out at me and then proceeds to laugh hysterically at my expression. "Snooze you lose."
"Get here!" I pounce, tickling her from head to toe.
"P-please not t-the neck!" She cried inbetween laughs.
"Should have thought about that before you stuck your tongue out at me!"

I look down at Ami peacefully sleeping in my arms. We had eaten and then she fell asleep whilst watching the movie she picked out. Iconic? I know. "Text your parents." I whisper in her ears. "Ab- about what?" She stirs. "That you aren't coming home tonight and are staying at mine."
"In 5 minutes."
"Come on baby. I don't want them to stress when we both forget and fall asleep."
"You're right. Why do you always have to be right?" Ami rubs her eyes and I'm so sure she looked like a kitten. She was just so adorable I didn't know what to do with her. I laugh. "Not funny. Now help me text them, I can’t make out the letters on the keyboard." I do just that and text her parents on her behalf. They replied instantly saying:
'I guessed. Have fun at your boyfriend's, but that much obviously.'
I laughed, her parents were so chill. "I texted them, baby." Turning to me she gave me a long kiss goodnight and then got comfortable in my arms. I would never have guessed in the morning that today would have been that eventful as it was but I wasn't complaining. I felt so close to her, more than ever.
