*Ollie's pov*

Raising my wrist I looked at the time, 8:15. I had already staked out where my first classroom was so I decided to wander about outside for a bit and try talk to some people. Before I made it to the field however, a struggling brunette caught my eye. I watched her for a minute, fiddling with her bike lock, attempting to attach it onto the bike rack. She was quite pretty I guess, dark brunette hair and her grumpy face caused me to chuckle. Maybe she could be my first friend? "Hey, you need a hand with that?" I called out. She quickly looked back, her hair framing her face as it whipped around.
"Yeah thanks, if you don't mind." She grimaced, her cheeks flushing a rosy pink colour. I smiled at her, with my cheesy grin as Shan likes to call it, and bent down beside her to help.

"Thanks again, wait what's your name?" She called out before we separated between corridors. Damn it, why didn't I tell her my name at the very least. I could do with a few friendly faces before I reached lunch. Not many kids from my primary could afford to go to Tommen, and it's not like Tadhg would let me sit with his group, so I should really step up my game here. She was starting first year as well, but I guess we weren't in the same class. "My bad." , I blushed. " It's Ollie, Ols whatever you'd like to call me."
"I'm Ami. Ami Carter, nice to meet you Ollie."
"You too, catch you later, Carter." I grinned, hurrying so I didn't miss science with some lady called Miss Lee, which I absolutely could not wait for. And no that was not me being sarcastic.
