*Ollie's pov*

My leg nervously bops underneath the table of the coffee shop as I wait for someone who may or may not turn up. Writing down the answers to the maths worksheet, I do my homework to make the time go faster. I imagine what she would say, if she does come that is. "Who knew you listened to Gracie?" My head flew up to see Ami standing in front of the table looking better than ever. She had fixed her hair into a ponytail with two strands hanging out at the front. On her neck, a heart necklace was worn and her school uniform was still on just like mine.
I smile up at her. "I'm bipolar when it comes to music." She blushes when she heard my voice and sits down on the seat next to me.

She starts fidgeting with her black puffer coat and doesn't hold eye contact. "What made you give me that note today?"
"A song."
"What song?"
"Silver Soul." I state. She starts blinking, looking everywhere except my face.
"Oh." She breaths and finally lays her gaze on me. "Our song."
I don't reply and just stare back at her taking everything in. I forgot how wide her eyes get when staring, how brown they are and how plump her lips were. "You remember?"
"Of course I remember, Ollie." She snaps breaking the eye contact. "Why now? Why all of this all so sudden?" She looks up to the ceiling, blinking rapidly. I could see she was trying not to cry.
"I don't know." I didn't really but the one thing I did know is that I will always love this girl.
"I shouldn't be here." She plays with her hair trembling, and pulls her chair back, trying to get up.
"Let me get you something to eat." I start to stand up myself.
"No. I'm okay." She laughs nervously. "It's all good." She says mostly to herself. Her behaviour was really strange and I didn't know what to make of it.
"You haven't eaten, Am." I didn't wait to hear her argue as I make my way to the till. I hand her a chocolate chip cookie a few minutes later.
"You remembered?" She stares up at me through her long eyelashes.
"Of course I remembered."
There was silence until she said, "Thank you, Ollie." I smile at her.
"You've grown." I nod at her body.
"So have you. Well a lot actually." She narrows her eyes. "And so has your attitude."
I raise an eyebrow. "You're just jealous."
"Yes, Ollie because I'm jealous of a bad attitude and not caring about anything. Oh and for suddenly growing freakishly strong and smirking 24/7."
"Exactly." I smirk at her.
"You're impossible."
I shrug my shoulders at her. She bites on her nails once again.
"Okay, thanks for the catch up." Before I had a chance to say anything she pulls her chair back, smiles at me and runs out the door.
