*Ami's pov*

I walk into the hall and take my seat inbetween Ella and Maeve. We chat for a few minutes until the teacher clears her throat. "Welcome Fourth Year." Mrs Danbury greets us, stepping onto stage.
"Woo!" Someone shouts and everyone laughs in response.
"Who was that?" I turn to Maeve.
"Liam." She snorts making me giggle.
"Got something to share Miss Carter?" Pink spots appear on my cheeks as I look back up to the stage to see my head of year staring at me expectantly.
"No, Miss." I tilt my head down.
"No, share what you were saying." Her lips were strung in a straight line.
"N-no it's okay." The colour red crawls all around my face. A chuckle sounds out of nowhere.
"Got something to say Mr Lynch?" She whips her head and I repeat the action straight after her question.
"I'm okay." He sits back in his chair with glistening eyes. Gosh, he looked so beautiful. He was to the side of me but a few rows in front.
"Good, now let's finally begin." She snaps and turns back to the rest of my year. "We are going to be..." Her voice trails off as I don't listen to a word she says. On Ollie's face there was a smug look followed by a smirk when he spots me. I narrow my eyes at him making his smile only just grow. That fucker. I roll my eyes as he raises his eyebrows at me, still fucking smiling.

I wait in the lunch queue for my lunch, today was Tuesday so they are selling chips. I walk backwards so someone could pass inbetween me and the person in front. "Watch where you are going, princess." My breath hitches as I turn to face the angel staring back at me.
"Come for round two?" I narrow my eyes once again.
"That would be fun but no. Can I pass?" He indicates to the space in front of me. I smirk, raising an eyebrow. "No."
"What do you mean no?" He narrows his eyes back at me.
"No means no, Ollie. You aren't passing." I grin as he just stares back at me blinking and furrowing his brows.
"You really are impossible, Carter."
"Says you."
"No, you are."
"I hate you." I growl.
"I hate you too." He growls back. "Fine, if you aren't going to let me pass..." He grins sarcastically at me. "Then I will have to make you get out of my way." And with that, he lifts my feet off the ground and moves me the side. Startled wasn't a good enough word to describe how I was feeling. He just picked me up. I repeat, picked me up in the lunch hall with everyone here with ease.
"W-w-"
"Use your words." He pokes me gently on my nose making me push his hand down.
"Don't touch me." I snap.
"Oh, so you can use your words."
Anger roamed around inside of me but strangely enough so did butterflies.

"Not you agai-" It wasn't Ollie but instead Declan looming over me.
"Not who again?" He asks, leaning into me. Almost subconsciously, I pull back. "No one." I force a smile.
"It obviously was."
"No." I squirm under his gaze uncomfortably.
"I bet it was that bastard Lynch." My heart roars. How did he even get that?
"No." I lie through my teeth, scared of what he was going to do if he found out.
"It better not be Ami." He yanks my arm towards him, looking around making sure no one was looking. "You'll know what happens otherwise, woman." He sneers. The hairs on my back rise as I internally fret. I couldn't show any signs of weakness before he pounces and God knows what would happen.
"It wasn't." I talk through my teeth. "I already said so."
