Challenging 5 || Ollie Lynch

A pancake party

*Ami's pov*

Waking up next to Ollie on a Thursday morning wasn't expected. "Ols?" I search around. "What time is it?"
He kisses the top of my forehead. "6:30, we still have 30 minutes before we need to get up and ready." I blink up at him, still in his arms. "So last night was... eventful. You regret it?" He looked taken back. "Wouldn't change a thing if I could." I breathe, instantly relaxing. "But Ols, I don't have my right books for today."
"We can get them on the way to school. I'll get someone to drive us."
"Okay thanks." I groan. "You have coffee?"
"You know what, we can walk to the coffee shop near here."
"Seems like a plan." He stops texting on his phone and puts a rogue strand of my hair into place. "Who were you texting?" I ask him.
"Finn. Him and his girlfriend kinda fell into an argument and he doesn't know how to make things right so I'm helping him."
"Wait, huh? Girlfriend?"
"You know Liliana Inda, second year."
"No way, she pulled Finn Howard?"
"More like Finn pulled her." He shakes his head smiling.
"So what are you telling him then?"
"I was going to think about it but..." My boyfriend pulls me on top of him, us still laying down. "He can wait, he has Aidan."
I kiss him gently. "I like the sound of that."

After rearranging my uniform, I come out of Ollie's wardrobe. "It doesn't look too messy does it?" I fiddle about with my appearance. "Not at all."
"All thanks to you being a clean freak." I smirk.
"I ain't a clean freak."
"You should see my bedroom then." He rolls his eyes. "Just go downstairs and make yourself at home." I giggle, now I know how to push his buttons. "No, you have to come with me and introduce me properly before they think some stranger is in their home."
"Argh fine, give me less than 10."
"Okay bet." I flop back onto Ollie's bed pulling out my phone and texting my best friend the details of my last 24 hours.
It was strangely relaxing that Ols was that accurate, he made an appearance in less than 10 minutes.

Standing outside the kitchen door I breathe. "You ready?" Ollie asks taking my waist. "I guess so." He pushes the kitchen door and sitting on the stools were Tadhg, a man who looked like an older version of another guy who was sitting next to a smaller girl and Edel who was near the hob. As soon as we walked through the doors, everyone looked up. I immediately blushed. "Everyone this is my girlfriend Ami, make her feel welcome."
"Oh hey Ami. So nice to see you again hon, want a pancake?" Edel says reaching for a plate.
"Er hi Edel, yes thanks." I smile sweetly.
"Didn't know Ollie was that good in the bedroom."
"Tadhg!" The girl squeals slapping Tadhg's arm. "Ouch! Johnny get my sister under control."
"Shannon doesn't need to be under control, you do." The guy I have learnt to be Johnny squints his eyes at the joker of the family.
"Guys introduce yourselves to Am." Ollie says taking control.
"Hi Ami so nice to meet you, I'm Shannon." The girl says reaching out her hand which I take. "More like 'Shannon like the river'." Tadhg mimics in an accent I suspect to be Dublin.
"Oh shush before I clip you round the head." He turns to me. "I'm Johnny."
"Nice to meet you Johnny."
"And this is John." Edel says placing a pancake in front of me. "Make yourself comfortable and eat up." She grins smiling sweetly.
"I smell pancakes!" The same girl that was holding a toddler when I was last here barges into the room.
"Of course you smell pancakes but you never smell when AJ's clothes need to be washed." Ollie's oldest brother saunders into the room with AJ running in after him.
"Mummy wash!" AJ giggles.
"See Molloy, mummy wash."
"Oh shut up Joe. I want my pancakes."
"And that you'll get." Edel shakes her head smiling once again. "Joey, Aoife how are you?"
"Good thanks, Edel." Joey smiles back at her propping AJ into his stall.
"I'll be better once I get my pancakes."
"Ami you're back." Joey notices.
"Hi guys." I politely smile at them both. "Ami!" Aoife says inbetween bites. "So nice to meet you again."
"Sorry I didn't stay for long last time."
"Understandable." Joey winks at me.
"What do you mean last time?" Tadhg perks up.
"Oh let them be." Johnny turns to me. "We are all glad that you are here."
