*Ollie's pov*
"So, you have studied?"
"Kinda."
Phoning my girlfriend on a Thursday night at midnight was a hard task as I had to stop her from falling asleep every 5 seconds.
"What are you going to do then?" I ask her.
"I have studied though. I do remember the content."
"Mhm sure you have studied."
"I have!"
"Don't lie to me baby, you're not good at it."
"Oliver." She said sternly down the phone. "I will be fine."
"As you wish. Anyway, did you hear what happened to Mia?"
"Mia? No, but that girl is bound to get into trouble."
"She asked out a sixth year."
"WHAT?"
"She's a minor as well."
"Hold on, let me get this right, a 14 year old asked out a 18 year old."
"Yes."
"Ew that the fuck? Wait what did he say?"
"Obviously James Renton said no."
"James Renton? That's crazy."
"What you saying about him?"
"Don't get me wrong, his personality is nice..."
"But?"
"He's so ugly."
I laugh. Her expressions were so funny like she was a human emoji. "You should consider acting, Am."
"Hmmm, I do have the looks." She flicks her hair and then breaks down laughing.
"But you do need to go to bed, sleepyhead."
She yawns then. "I think you're right."
"I am."
"Okay, I love you baby."
"I love you too." I kiss her through the phone and then hang up with a smile on my face.I grin at Ami from across the classroom. "Oliver please refrain from communicating with Amilie across the classroom before we mark the tests."
"Sorry Miss." I look down at the paper trying to hide my smile.
"And Amilie stop smirking at him."
"Sorry Miss." I looked up just in time to see her grow red and look down as well, copying my actions.
"Right class, let's start." Mrs Lemond ordered."Hand your tests back and see your marks then please."
We did as we were told and on my paper I see a 33/40. Not bad, this test was so hard.
"Now that y-" Our teacher didn't even finish her sentence before scraping of a chair filled our ears. I turned to see my own girlfriend leaving the room in a hurry. To anyone she would have seen okay but to me I could see she was just faking her smile.
"Amilie, if you want to leave the room you will have to ask."
She was out of the classroom before Miss even had time to finish that sentence.
"Can I please be excused Mrs Lemond?" I politely ask.
"I think that's best." She looks wearily at the door Ami just left from.
I walk out the door quickly wrapping my hands around the frame. I saw her down a different corridor, collapsed on the floor looking miserable. I lean arms crossed on the doorframe peering down at her. "If you don't tell me what's wrong I won't know who to fight." She jumps, wipes her face and looks up at me. Gosh, she was so gorgeous. Her eyes so wide and glistened in the light. "Oh hey...Ollie." She winces.
I slide down to meet her on the ground. "So what is it, baby?" I wrap my arm around her, pulling her in.
"Gosh, I hate when you're right."
"How was I right this time?"
"About not studying enough." She finally faces me properly. Her eyes were teary but thankfully there was a huge smile on her face. "You really piss me off sometimes." She starts laughing.
"Well, it's nice to keep things interesting." I laugh with her.
"It turns out I didn't know the content."
"It turns out you didn't know the content." We sigh and start laughing again.
"Oh how much I love you." She pulls me in wrapping her arms round my neck.
"Well come on then." I stand up and give her my hand.
"Okay." She rolls her eyes taking my hand.
"What did you get?" I ask as we walk down the corridor on the way to class.
"Ollie."
"I knew I would beat you."
"Ollie."
"I'm just that good."
"Ollie!"
