*Ollie's pov*

Seeing Ami with that prick Holland was so hard. Before school, I see them. At lunch, I see them. After school, I see them. The idea dug deep into my core so badly that I felt sick. Why she was with that rat was beyond me. I heard he always took her to fancy restaurants and always gave her fancy gifts. However, whenever I pass them, Ami's eyes seem to always be on me. I always gave her a 'can I help you?' expression back and in return she just rolled her eyes. I don't know what's going on in that relationship but all I know was that it was weird. They never kissed or made any proper compassion to one another and when it did happen, Ami just give her boyfriend a half hearted smile. Today, I was walking down a corridor with Aidan. "Did you do the bit at the bottom for extra credit?"
"No."
"No? You always do it."
"Well not today." My attention wasn't even on my friend but on the brunette walking with the twat.
"Ollie?" I turn around to stare at a blonde with giggling girls behind her.
"Yes?" I look down at her. She must be third year.
"Can I ask you a question? Don't be taken back or anything." I notice Ami looking my way and stopping near to where my conversation was happening whilst she was waiting for Holland to use his locker.
"Go on." I smile down at her.
"Would you go on a date with me?" I hear Ami choke and then cover it up and smiling at her boyfriend. I smirk at my ex, shaking my head.
"That's so sweet of you." I say to the blonde. In my peripheral, I see Ami walk off still trying to not make it obvious she was staring. "But I just got out of a long relationship and I am not ready to date again yet."
"Better luck next time." One of her friends push her shoulder.
"Okay, thanks anyway, Ollie." She blushes.
"No problem." I smile and then look quizzically at Aidan. "Did that really just happen?"
"It looks like it, lad."
