*Ollie's pov*

Strolling through the carpark with the Weeknd's "Coming Down" blasting in my ears, I bopped my head along to the beat. A beep of a car horn that I knew all too well caught my attention . "Alright Lad?" My brother drawled, through the open window of his newly refurbished car, courtesy of Tony, with a cigarette dangling precariously from his lips. Fatherhood was treating him well, but he still was the same old brother I'd grown up with. "JOE!" I grinned delightedly as I flopped into the passenger seat, dumping my bag on the ground dramatically.
"Thought you were working till late tonight?" I questioned.
"Nah got Tony to let me finish early today. AJ's at nursery and Aoif is at work, so why not come see how my boys first day was?" He explained, "Oh and we can go straight home, think Tadhg is at a friend's house. Or doing whatever shit that kid is up to these days."
"Ahh Right. Probably something to do with that asshole, something Holland. I forgot his name. But he tried to threaten me today, and yes don't worry I took care of it" I hope so anyway. Joey tensed at the mention of his name. Sensing this maybe had something to do with him rather than Tadhg, I quickly changed the subject. "Apart from that though my day was absolutely Grand. I'm so gonna be the top of my class and I made some friends aswell!"
Joeys expression cleared up, thank God, "That's great Lad, glad it wasn't too rough for you." He began to chuckle, "Top of your class you say? Looks like we got a little nerd on our hands."

After recounting my day to Mr K, I finally managed to escape to the quiet of my room. Honestly, the best part about moving in here was that I finally got some privacy all to myself. A place where I could think alone, which was something that I could never do in our old house with all that noise, plus sharing with two of my brothers. Dutifully putting off the mountain of homework I had gotten, I cracked open my book to start where I left off last night.
