*SIXTH YEAR*

*Ollie's pov*

"I can't believe it's actually our last first day." Ella sighs as she clings onto Aidan's arm with a defeated look scratched onto her face.
"Well I personally am very happy about it." Finn grins in triumph, slamming the locker doors he walks past.
"Oh Finn, really? Stop being so fucking loud, dammit!" Liliana winces in pain, easing her temples.
"Not my fault you decided to get absolutely hammered before the first day of school." Her boyfriend shrugs and starts laugh manically as she charges after him.
"What's going up in here?" I ask, softly kissing Ami's temple. She was just staring straight ahead with an unreadable expression.
"What? Oh nothing." She smiles up at me. "I'm just happy to be back."
"That's when I know you are lying." I laugh, pulling her jumper so she falls into my front. Wrapping my arms around her, I rest my chin on her shoulder. "Tell me you really are thinking about, baby."
"It's our last year. After our leaving cert, we are done. Everyone's gone. What happens next?" She slowly blows out a huff and sinks into me.
"You, me. We travel the world."
"So then our lives officially start."
"That's were you're wrong. My life started as soon as I spotted you struggling to park your bike back in first year."
Ami turns to face me, her big, brown, doey eyes wider than ever before.
"So when we finish school, we can go travel and see places we have never seen before. It will be an absolute adventure and then when your mind's all clear and you've had a drink of coffee in the morning, you can decide what you want to do next. Well you can decide whilst watching me swim in our infinity pool."
She doesn't say anything for a minute and just stares at me.
"Or if y-"
"You really mean that?" She blurts out, blinking twice.
"Of course I do. Who else would I take to Paris?"
Seeing her face light up and a smile form makes my heart warm for the girl that has been controlling it since we were 12. I follow Ami's gaze and spot Kai stumble out of the storage cupboard  with his tie hanging loose and his shirt all crumpled. Maeve follows shortly after with her lip gloss all messed up and her hair all over the place.
"First day ritual, huh?" I smirk at the two of them as Maeve opens her locker to fix her hair and makeup in the mirror.
"What are you on about?" She giggles as she reapplies her lip gloss.
"You've done it for like 3 years straight, Mae." Ami shakes her head, copying my look.
"And each year, we pretend not to know what you are on about."
"Ahah! You said 'pretend'! You slipped up." Ami grins.
"Ahah! Quit acting like you don't let Ollie pleasure you like everyday." Maeve rolls her eyes at her bestfriend.
"Maeve!" My girlfriend gasps as I just laugh, admiring Maeve's boldness.
"Ami!" Maeve mimics.
"We got ourselves good ones." Kai nods at me as he leans against a locker, admiring his girl.
"We sure did."

"This year, everyone needs to focus." Mr Humphrey glares at my classmates. "It's sixth year, fix up. Your leaving certs will be right round the corner."
"Sir, do yo-"
"Quiet, Liam!" Our teacher snaps as he makes his way round to the board. "Any questions?"
I spot Liam raise his hand.
"Good, no one. Now let's actually start the lesson, shall we?"
I had done around 10 maths problems before our teacher seemed to nod off. I smirk and slide my hand onto Ami's thigh. She immediately jumps and starts fidgeting.
"Ols." She whisper-hisses. "You can't-"
I just turn my head to our teacher who had now joined the land of unicorns and fairies.
"Seems as if he wasn't the only one partying yesterday." My girlfriend tuts as she looks at Liliana in front of us who's head was bowed and now in a deep sleep. As we got to choose who we paired next to this year, Finn gently grazes her cheek and pecks a small kiss onto her forehead.
"They're so cute." Ella sighs, leaning to me.
"But not as cute as us." Aidan pulls Ella into him.
"We can't be corny in class, Aidan!" I hear her shriek as he starts to kiss her.
Maeve just bursts into laughter and leans back in her chair, the same one that Kai's arm was wrapped around.
"You guys belong in 90s America." Ami shakes her head.
"You're right. I would rock overly baggy jeans."
"Yeah, and a backwards basketball cap on me." Kai stares directly into his girlfriend's eyes unfazed.
"Wait, you're so right babe." She starts getting worked up as he just stares at her with a smile on his lips. "What if you bought a bombox just like sixteen candles..." I don't even listen to Maeve as I just watch Kai completely and utterly in love.

I slide my arm over Ami's shoulder as I unlock the door of the Manor. Cupcake immediately starts jumping at me and Bonnie circles Ami's legs barking.
"Sorry guys, they are just hungry and thought you had snacks." Shannon sighs.
"Well why don't you feed them?" I laugh at my sister.
"I will after I put my coat on." Johnny states, stretching into his coat. "Shite, I forgot the keys."
"Where are you guys going?" Ami tilts her head, flicking her shoes off.
"The chippers to meet Claire and Gibsie." Shannon smiles at my girlfriend. "I love your bag, Ami."
"Aw thanks, Shan." They both smile at each other and my sister breaks the contact by slipping on her own coat.
"Gibs said he wanted to show us something." Johnny confirms. "God knows what it is."
"Because it's Gibsie, imma wish you both good luck." I laugh just before Johnny disappears back into the kitchen.
"Thanks, lad!" He calls out.
"Right, we will be gone in five. Edel is coming back in a few hours as she is working with a client right now but John told me to tell you he has to work out your work experience later as he is currently working on an important case and won't be home until late."
"Good memory, Shan. Thanks." I nod. She watches me for a second before reaching to the cupboard and pulling out two leashes.
"No problem, Ollie."
"The weather says it's going to rain by the way." Ami slips in.
"Of course it is." Shannon mutters and pulls out an umbrella. "Thanks for telling me."
"You okay, Shan? You see a bit distracted." I make a crease in my forehead.
"All good." She smiles but it doesn't quite reach her eyes. "Just hungry." She brushes it off, rubbing her tummy.
"Okay." I whisper as I watch her watch me.
"Let's go now." Johnny strides in. "I just got a hurry up text from that big ejeet himself."
"Okay." Shannon's face lights up a tad when she sees her other half but her hand was still rested on her tummy.
