*Ami's pov*
I stare at the clock in Chemistry watching the time tick by, it had barely been 15 minutes. Ever since the break up, I had lost my motivation for school and I didn't know how to bring it back. "Actually!" Miss Lee slams a book on her desk. "Let's do a practical!" Everyone cheers.
"Go on Miss!" Liam shouts.
"I need two students to go to the storage room to get the supplies, er Ami..." I throw my head up that had previously been lying on the desk. "And er Ollie." I internally scream, of course she picks us both. I turn to Maeve who gives me a thumbs up, you've got to be kidding me. I reluctantly draw my chair back and stand up. Walking through the doorway I search for the guy I was supposed to be going with. He clears his throat making me turn, finding him leaning against the doorframe. He had a smirk painted on his majestic face and his nonchalant attitude only made him 10x more attractive. His arms were folded across his newly formed chest and his height added to the attraction. His eyes were narrowed and one eyebrow was raised. How could one be that hot? I groan and turn on my heels, walking in the direction to the storage room.I turn the handle to the cupboard and turn the lights on when the door shut. Out of all days, I got stuck with him today. I look around for the box we needed. The silence was massive and it made me so uncomfortable. I don't realise I groaned out loud before Ollie asks, "What's up?"
"I'm fine." I reply hastily. I look around for a few more seconds until my eyes settle on the box on the very top shelve. Okay, it's fine, you've grown, you can reach that, Ami. How hard can it be? Yeah, it turns out it was very hard, I couldn't reach it. I start struggling to reach it, there was no chair or anything and so I eventually give up. I turn around to see my ex staring at me with a smug look on his face and once again, leaning on the doorframe. Come on, why did he have to look this hot after the break up, it wasn't fair. And why is he standing in the hottest position a guy can do. "Need help?" He smirks at me.
"Yeah." I blink.
"Then ask me for help." Are you fucking serious. I start biting my nail dreading it. "Can you help me, please." He jolts forward, holding my wrist in one of his hands, scorching my skin. He stares down at me, his eyes burning through mine. "Don't bite your nails." His face looks even better close up.
"Get off me." I snap, pulling my hand back. My chest rapidly rises and falls as his eyes burn deep into my soul again. His jaw ticks. "And why should I?"
I rack my brain for a possible answer. "Because I hate you." I blurt out. Good Ami, make him think you despise him. His eyebrow raises and his eyes switch between my eyes. He moves closer to me to the point that my back hits the wall behind me. I look up at him, his hot breath on my face and a smug look on his own. "Hate is just another word for love." He whispers down at me.
"N-no. I hate you." I shudder under his breath.
"Sure you do." He pulls my chin up.
"I do, Oliver. I do fucking hate you." I snap.
"And I hate you too." He snarls back.
I blink repetitively trying to regain myself as he gets even closer to me. "You didn't tell me about Declan." He growls down at me.
"Why would I need to tell you about my love life." I growl back. His jaw ticks once again.
"Don't go out with a prick, you are better than that."
"He's not a prick."
"Yes, he is."
I shudder as his hand slides down from my chin onto my neck.
"He's a dickhead." I bit onto my lip before a whimper escapes from me as he grabs my neck then.
"At least he's not a cheater." I whisper. He pulls back as if I stung him and I breathe a sigh of relief that I didn't act on my hormonal instincts.
"Go on then, take him up on that offer." He snaps.
"How do you know about that?"
He jolts back towards me again making my back arch as his warm breath was on me once again. "I know everything about you, princess." I gasp, I didn't even know it came out of me until he smirks once again. "Date the dick."
"Fine, I will." I narrow my eyes as I push his body away from me.
"Fine." He snaps.
"Fine. Now help me get that down." I point up to the box.
"Please..."
"You really are impossible."
"All you have to say is please." He folds his arms again.
"Whatever, Oliver. Please."
"Sure." Another smirk falls on his lips.
