*Ollie's pov*

Pressing the bell on the bus, I remove Ami's headphones and whisper in her ear. "Look out the window."
She squeals in delight. "It's actually magical." I knew she loved Autumn and the beach so much so why not put two and two together. She was beginning to look like her old self again.
"Let's go, princess." Pulling her bag over my shoulder to join with mine, I manoeuvre my way through the bus and stopped when it got to the exit.
"Ready?" I look down at her. Her eyes glistened with shear delight.
"Ready."

The crisp air hit us with such force as we made our way down the beach. It was so windy and the air smelt fresh. I turned to see Ami, her hair flying in the wind as she skipped and danced around. She looked so free, free like a bird. "You look so free."
She turned to me, stopping suddenly. "Yes, I'm so free that you can't catch me."
"You sure?" I dropped our bags and chased after the screaming girl in front of me. She was no match as I easily caught up to her, grabbing her waist. "I told you."
She turns her head around to look at me. "But I'm still free."
"You will always be free." I snuggle my nose in her ear.
"Let's actually see how good you are at football then." She winks at me.
"Game on." I run to get the football. Booting it down to where she was standing she picks the ball up. "You can't pick it up, that's cheating!"
"Boo hoo!" She yells back.
"Come on!"
"Fine! I play by the rules just for you." She settles the ball down and starts dribbling.
"Oh so you have moves then, huh?" I look at the brunette who was swooping in and out. "Where did you get these moves from?"
"Watching your games." When she says that, my mind flickers back to the time she watched my first game. She was so beautiful standing there in the stands, being my good luck charm that I didn't think I needed up until then.
"Wanna play a game?"
"Yes but go easy on me." What I didn't see then was a smirk. She told me to go easy on her so that's what I did. What I didn't know was that she was very good at football especially dribbling.
"Why are you so good?" I ask.
"I told you."
"Still doesn't make sense."
"Okay, well my dad taught me and my brother when we were young."
"I knew you were hiding something Little Miss 'I learnt from watching your games'." I tut at her as she snickers.
"Another game?"
"What so you can try and make me look bad? No thanks."
"Oh so you are a sore loser."
"When did I ever lose. I'm the captain of the Tommen Football Team of course I am not losing."
"That's what they all say." She shrugs her shoulders.
"You know what?" I run and snatch the ball, nutmeging her in the process. "Another game will be just fine."
"Hey!"

Walking along the beach, I take in the beauty of nature. It was so serene, how can something be this calming? The clock turned 1pm when we started getting hungry and as a result we walked over to the chipper.
"Fish and chips?" The lady at the counter asks.
"Two please." I pay and set the food down on the table and then continue to take a seat opposite Ami on a blue booth. "I'm surprised no one looked at as us funny." We were still wearing our uniform as we couldn't be asked to change.
"I still don't know how we snuck out without anyone noticing."
"I know right. Well I did tell Maeve and Finn to tell the teachers that we were sick." I shrug.
"Forward thinking, I like that."
"You like everything about me, don't try lie." I smirk as she shifts around in her seat blushing.
"Whatever, Ollie, keep believing that."
"Oh, I will." I wink at her.
"The fish and chips near the seaside is always better than normal fish and chips." Am rests back on her side of the table on her booth.
"Full?"
"Very much so." She grins at me. I loved seeing her this way; so confident and happy in herself. It made her that much prettier. A pretty inside and a pretty outside. I clock the time on my phone and sigh.
"It looks like we are coming to the end of our adventure."
"Are you serious?" She sighs.
"It's already 2:30pm. We need to start going so no one gets suspicious."
"Argh, fine."
"Aw, you wanted to spend more time with me."
"Of course I did." She winks at me. She was finally returning back the flirtatious teasing I lay upon her and it made the edges of my lips curl up.
"Confident much?" I raise an eyebrow.
"Sexy much?" She smirks. Well shit.

I put my head to hers when we get to the crossover. "Don't go already." She groans.
"You will see me tomorrow, baby."
I stares up at me, her chocolate eyes became like lazers, fixating on my almond ones. "Not properly I won't."
"Wh-" Oh. Because of the dickhead she calls her boyfriend. She actually had a boyfriend and I forgot. She isn't mine and I can't do something properly about it and it pains me."Oh yeah."
She flinches but then takes my cheek up in her hand. "Today was so fun." She smiles. "I wouldn't have tried to spend it any differently."
"But you have to go."
"But I have to go." She takes a long sigh and tucks a piece of hair behind her ear. "I'll see you soon, Lynch."
"Catch you later, Carter." And with that we part ways once again.
