*Ami's pov*

Racing to the third year common room with my biology book in my hand, I check the time. I have exactly 15 minutes before my test next period and I still don't know how to work out this one question which I am so sure that will come up. "Nitrogen fixing bacteria." I hear as I push through the doors. Standing in front of me was a nervous looking Ollie Lynch strutting up and down the room, reciting biology key words. "Of course you're here." I shake my head in disapproval. Whipping his head round, he looks me up and down and groans. "Not my biggest rival. You made me lose count as well."
"Sor-ry." I say sarcastically grinning.
"Yeah, okay. Get out though, this is my territory."
"You can't claim the whole damn common room Ols."
"I can and I will."
"What about if I just sit in this corner really quietly?" I point to a big armchair. I turn to him, walking close so he has to look down and giving him my puppy doll eyes.
"No."
"Pleaseee." I say blinking and pouting my lip.
"Argh fine! Just over there though. And don't even think about being loud."
"Yay! Thanks Ols!"
"Only for you." He mutters scratching his head, concentrating.

I retried over and over again the same method for this question but likewise kept on getting the answer wrong again and again. "Argh!" I shout throwing my pencil down. "I thought I asked you to please be quiet." Ollie shook his head from his perch on the table. "Yeah, but I can't get this method right."
"Looks like I'm winning this test, Carter."
"Argh!" I think about him mocking me and shake my head. "Wait..."
Ollie's head immediately flashes up. "Don't say it."
"What if you-"
"Don't say it."
"Could help me?"
"I warned you not to say it, Carter!"
"Boo hoo. Now help me."
"No."
"Yes."
"No."
"Yes."
"No."
"I can do this for ages, I practice on my brother."
"No."
"Yes."
"No."
"Yes! Please Ols."
"Argh fine." He then smirks. "What do I get in return though?"
"Hmmm." I think. "A kitkat bar?"
"Make it three and we have ourselves a deal."
"Why do you need that many?" I ask and he just shrugs in response. "Whatever, but I'm getting it from the canteen because they are cheaper so meet me at lunch."
"Got yourself a deal, Carter." He then checks his watch. "And you have 5 minutes to learn this new method."
I grin.
