Might Mate (Henry's POV)

Henry’s POV

  I left the dorm earlier than expected of me and went straight to the place where my new friends and I have talked about we’d meet up before the orientation.

And up until the tour, we were all still together.

I like all of them because they’re happy to be with, most especially Marco.

Well, just because, out of the five of them, I can relate to him the most. We have a lot of things in common, we share same interests and on top of that, he’s also interested in writing novels, same as me.

  My friends and I have been talking nonstop while we’re walking when suddenly,

  “Hey, Henry, right?” The guy who’s staying across my room greeted me and if I’m not mistaken, his name is Zach.

He’s with some other guys too who’s also staying in the same floor where my room is.

  I nodded at him and said, “Yes.”

  He smiled mischievously and said, “Your husband is not feeling well.” He emphasized the husband and then they all laughed.

And I, obviously.. was totally shocked at that.

  Like what?

  “Husband?” Marco repeated, he looked at me, asking.

  “What they meant is.. my roommate.” I explained to Marco and to the others too.

  “You have a roommate?” Marco asked me again and he also looked very surprised at that.

I was about to answer him, but,

  “Yes.” Zach suddenly spoke for me and even added, “They’re living in together.” And then they all laughed again.

  What’s wrong with these people? They’re minds seems.. full of malice!

  But despite feeling like they’re laughing at me, I still ask if, “Where is he?” My conscience is clean, I’ve got nothing to hide and I’ve got nothing to be ashamed of. “I mean.. my roommate.”

  “We saw him sitting there alone and looking like about to lose his life.” Someone told me while having a wide smile on his face. “You have to be there for him right away before it’s too late.”
