Plot Twist (Alex's POV)

Alex’s POV

  The class has already started.

Henry and I rarely see each other now, except when we’re both vacant and at night, when we’re both about to go to sleep.

  “Hey, Alex.”

I heard Henry called, so I quickly turned to him even if I am so busy with reading the notes I’ve taken down in the class earlier.

  Henry slowly put his phone down, he looked at me and smiled kinda awkwardly. “I was..” He’s kinda hesitant to say it. “I was talking to my classmate.. Alexis. Everybody call her.. Alex.. too.” He explained.

  I nodded. “Okay.” Then I immediately go back reading my notes again.

  Henry then stood up from the bed and hurriedly walked to the door. “I’m just done doing some —” Was all I heard from him before he totally get out and closed the door of our room.

I suddenly felt tired since I’ve been studying for almost two hours already.

I took the glasses I’m wearing off, leaned in the chair, sighed deeply, then closed my eyes to rest it a bit.

I only opened my eyes again when I heard the creaking sound of the door, I saw Henry coming in.

I thought he’ll going back to bed, but I was wrong, he grabbed a coat instead and his wallet, looks like he’s going somewhere.

  “Where are you going?” I wasn’t able to stop myself from asking him.

  He looked at me shortly. “Alexis invited me to come over to their house. I’ll have dinner there and I might also spend the night there.” He told me while he’s busy preparing himself. “You can use the bed tonight. See you tomorrow.” He added before he left completely.

And I’m all alone again.

I thought of going back to reading, but I can’t concentrate anymore, so I just put them aside for now.

Maybe I need to eat first then take a rest.

So I quickly stood up from the chair and left the room to buy something for dinner.

  I did what Henry told me before he left earlier, to use the bed tonight.

And after reading my notes again a bit, I decided to lie down already, planning to sleep early than usual because I have to get up early tomorrow to attend the morning class.
