Alex’s POV
It’s past ten pm already when we able to reached the dorm, and the guard is asking for our School IDs before he’d let us in, but we both forgot to bring our IDs with us.
“I can still remember you. I know you’re really a student here.” The guard said to Henry. “You can go in.”
But Henry quickly refused. “No. I won’t go in without him.” He said while shaking his head.
The guard suddenly looked at Henry suspiciously. “It’s in the policy, bringing girlfriends or boyfriends into the rooms is strictly not allowed.” He said.
Henry’s cheeks suddenly turned red, then he looked at me as if he’s asking for help.
“We perfectly know that, and we’re so sorry for breaking the rules. I mean, about the curfew. But it’s really true that I’m a student here and I also stay in the dorm.” I said to the guard. “You can even check the record now, you’ll find my name there, it’s Alexander Gabriel Claremont-Diaz.”
“Yes, he’s telling the truth.” Henry then said as second motion to me. “In fact, he’s my.. my former roommate.” He even added.
The guard suddenly furrowed his brows.
“If you let me in, I swear,” I said to the guard again. “I’ll go back here quickly and show you my School ID.”
The guard seems thinking very deeply while he’s looking so serious.
While Henry and I are patiently waiting for his decision.
This situation is quite irritating for me, but I understand that the guard is only doing his job, and it’s really us – especially me – who’s at fault.
Me because.. it’s me who asked Henry to go on a date even if it's not in the plan.
If ever the guard decide to really don’t let us in, then, maybe, I’m just gonna ask Henry to come with me checking —
“Okay, okay. Both of you, go in.” After a while, the guard suddenly said to us. “Just make sure that this won’t happen again, or else —”
“It won’t happen again.” Henry quickly said. “Thank you.” Then he grabbed my hand and dragged me to go in immediately.

“I was really nervous earlier.” Henry said then he sighs deep. “I really thought he won’t let us in.”
