Getting Closer (Alex's POV)

Alex’s POV

  I was busy in studying when I suddenly heard a knock at my door.

I quickly stood up from the chair to open it.

  “Hi.” Henry was all smiles at me. “Can I borrow a pen?” He asked.

I quickly grab a pen and gave it to him.

  “Thank you.” He said with a smile, then he left.

I closed the door and immediately go back on the chair.

But I haven’t been sitting for very long when I heard another knock at my door.

I stood up and open it.

  “Can I borrow a sheet of paper?” Henry asked, he’s smiling at me. “I’m sorry. I just forgot to buy earlier.”

I immediately grab my pad of paper and giving it to him.

  But Henry shook his head. “No.” He refused and said, “Just a sheet.”

  “No. It’s okay.” I told him. “Come on, take it.” I insisted.

  He smiles. “Okay.” Then he took it from me. “Thank you.” And he immediately left.

I closed the door again and went back sitting on the chair again.

But just after a minute or two, I guess, there’s another knock at my door.

I stood from the chair again and opened the door again.

  “Hi.” And here’s Henry again. “Can I borrow your charger? I just can’t find mine.” While having a shy smile.

I shook my head and smiled.

And instead of getting my charger to give it to him, I checked if there’s people outside and when I didn’t see anyone, I pulled Henry into my room.

  “Where’s your phone?” I asked him.

He quickly gave it to me.

  I took it from him and plugged it. “You can stay here while waiting for your phone.” Then I told him.

  He smiles at me. “Sure.” He said, then he lie down on my bed while looking at me.

I smiled at him, too.

Then I immediately looked away from him to make sure that I wouldn’t let myself gave into temptation.
