Your Royal Highness (Henry's POV)

Henry’s POV

 

 

 

  And we already switched positions last night. I mean, Alex already used the bed and I slept on the mattress.

The morning came.. I was about to get up, but fuck, I suddenly felt my back aching terribly and it’s giving me a hard time to get up from the mattress.

  “Shit!” I muttered in pain.

  Alex, who’s in front of the mirror, checking himself, suddenly turned to me and asked, “Are you okay?” He’s staring at me with wonder.

  “Yeah.” I quickly said, then I forced myself to sit up. “How about you?” I asked him back.

  He nodded. “Feeling much better than yesterday.” Then he said.

  “Well, that’s.. great!” I told him, then I forced myself to smile.

  He nodded again. “I’m gonna go out to buy something for breakfast. Do you want.. anything? I’ll buy it for you.” What a kind offer.

  But I shook my head. “I’m just gonna go out later, too.” I told him, hoping that he’ll leave already.

  “Okay.” He said, then he already turned to the door.

When I saw him already opening the door, I moved a little and slowly tried to stand up because I need to go to the bathroom. But my back throbbed in pain so suddenly, and instead of I’ll be able to stand up, I fell lying down on the mattress even more.

  “Fuck!” I groaned in pain.

  Alex was about to leave, but I think he heard me, he suddenly turned again and looked at me. “What’s.. happening to you?” He asked while looking like he’s scanning me from head to toe.

Again, I shook my head at him, then I tried to get up again even though Alex is still looking at me, but again.. I failed.

  Alex suddenly laughed. “Do you need some help?” He asked while having that big teasing smile on his face.

  “Yes, please.” I accepted his offer even if I really don’t want to accept any help from him or from anybody. “But after this.. you will going to forget that it happened. Understood?” I told him, sound as an order.

  “Why? Is it too humiliating for you?” Alex asked while walking towards me, he’s still laughing. “Seems like you’re not used to sleep on the floor. Were you born with a golden spoon in your mouth?” While he’s helping me to slowly get up.

  I get what he means, but, “Is that even possible to be born with a bloody spoon in the mouth?” I jokingly asked. “Thank you.” I told him when I’m finally able to stand up.

  “A newly born baby, sucking spoon? That’s kinda.. look weird.” Alex said while laughing. “So?” He’s asking me.

  I grabbed my towel. “I can take it from here. You can leave. Thanks again.” I said to him, then I took a step forward, and fuck, there’s again the throbbing pain in my back. “Ouch! Shit!” I exclaimed while holding the spot where it hurts the most.

  “Come on, I’ll help you to go to the bathroom first.” Alex said, even if I’m not looking at him, I am so sure that he’s smiling widely. He’s laughing at me, that’s for sure. “Don’t refuse my help because you’re not in the position now to be so fussy, Your Royal Highness.” He added while we’re already walking out of our room, he’s holding me up.

  “Please don’t call me like that.” I seriously told him. “It’s irritating me.”

  “They’re irritating me, too.” Alex said.

  “Who?” I confusedly asked him.

Alex didn’t say anything.

But when I look around, I think I already knew the answer to my question.

Other students were looking at us mischievously and suspiciously.

  “It looks like.. someone was too aggressive last night.” Zach said, he’s looking at us while grinning.

  “Seriously, what’s your fucking problem?” Alex asked Zach angrily, looks like he’s ready to throw a punch anytime now.

  “Alex.” I nervously called him, trying to get his attention back, because.. for Christ's sake,

  I don’t want to be involved into any trouble!

Then Zach and the others, they suddenly ran away fast while laughing loudly.

And somehow, I felt relieved that they left.

But Alex, he’s still very mad and he looks like he wants to follow them.

  “Alex, don’t.” I quickly grabbed him by the arm. “Just let them.”

  Alex suddenly turned to me. “Do you hear yourself? Let them?” He asked me, his voice suddenly raised. “They’re accusing us of something that we aren’t doing! Don’t you realise that?”

  “Just.. just don’t let it get into your mind. We know what’s really the truth and that’s what matters.” I calmly said to him. “We shouldn’t be affected by what they’re saying because it’s not true, right?”

  Alex sighed violently. “Fuck!” He exclaimed then he kicked the door of Zach’s room, then he turned to me again. “Come here, I’ll bring you to the bathroom.” Then he hold me up again.
