LOCKED (Henry's POV)

Henry’s POV

  I went to the bathroom to brush my teeth, but it’s been ten minutes already, maybe, and I’m still not yet finished because I took looking at myself in the mirror longer than brushing my teeth.

  You look fucked!

I said to myself then I sighed deeply.

I’ve been out of my mind since earlier, after Shaan and I had a talk.

While I was going back to the dorm, I couldn’t get out of my mind the last thing Shaan said to me at the café, that I’m in love with Alex.

I still tried to deny it, tried to convince myself that it isn’t love, but when I accidentally bumped into him earlier and when I got to stare at his face again, I suddenly realised and couldn’t deny it to myself anymore, I confirmed that..

   Yes, I’m in love with him!

I sighed deeply again while still staring at my fucked up reflection in the mirror.

And while staring at myself in the mirror, I was startled when one of the bathroom cubicles, exactly the one at my back, suddenly opened.

Because I was so startled, I accidentally swallowed the toothpaste in my mouth and coughed really hard.

If it’s bloody possible, I might even swallow my toothbrush too.

That’s how surprised I was when I suddenly saw Alex went out of that cubicle.

Let’s add that he wears nothing but a towel on his lower body.

I know that there’s someone taking a shower in one of the cubicles when I went in earlier, but I totally have no idea that it’s him.

I hurriedly finished brushing my teeth.

I was already rinsing my mouth when I suddenly heard Alex,

  “Is there anyone out there?” He asked while pounding the door lightly. “Please open the door.”

  A moment later, out of curiousity.. “W-why?” I tried to ask him even if I’m so nervous.

This is the first time I dared to talk to him after we ignored each other for days and I hope he'll already stop ignoring me now.

  Alex looked at me shortly. “The door is locked from the outside.” Was what all he said to me, then he looked away and didn’t speak again.

But that’s fine, at least he answered me when I asked him.
