Accidental Roommates (Inspired by Red, White & Royal Blue)

LONGING (Alex's POV)

Alex’s POV

  I went out of my room in a hurry then locked it. I need to leave immediately because I’m running late for my afternoon class.

I walked hurriedly, but I automatically stopped when I was already in front of Henry’s room.

I stared at his door while wondering if he’s inside.

I know that he has no classes today, so it’s either he’s locking himself inside or he’s out.

Something’s telling me to knock at his door to check up on him, but I quickly stopped myself to do so because I’ll be really late.

I took a deep breath then I started to walk again.

I quickly walked away from Henry’s room even before I completely give in to the voice in my head that’s telling me to knock at his door and beg him to talk to me again.

  I was walking very fast, went out of the dorm in a hurry, I wasn’t looking on my way and it resulted me to accidentally bumped into,

  Henry?

We were both stunned for a moment while looking into each other with surprise.

  But Henry was the first one to looked away. “I-I’m sorry.” He said quietly, then he walked and went inside the dorm.

I swallowed, then I looked back to follow him with stares.

I immediately noticed that he seemed like.. bothered or troubled.

It’s so obvious that he’s not okay.

I am so sure that he’s going through something.

I felt so worried about him, I want to be there for him, but I was also worried that he might not want to share any of his problems with me.

So even if it’s too hard for me, I decided to just leave and attend my class.

  While in the class, I can’t concentrate, my mind is still with Henry.
