The Planning Of.. A Happy Day (?)

Alex’s POV

  I took a deep breath, I felt very heavy while I was closing the door and leaving Henry alone inside.

It’s actually so hard for me to leave him, especially when he’s acting like that.

I absolutely know that he’s been waiting to hear something from me, I badly want to say it to him as well, but I want to surprise him first, so I tried so hard to stop myself from saying it.

And before my heart wins over me and orders me to get back inside the room, I already started to walk fast to get to where Zach and our other neighbors at.

I will going to meet them because they’re going to help me to set up my surprise for Henry.

We already talked and planned about it even before coming here and I’m hoping that everything will turn out very well.

And most of all, I’m hoping that this can make Henry happy, because that’s what I really want to do.. to make him very happy.

While preparing the venue that we rented for my surprise to Henry, I also got surprised when Alexis suddenly showed up and approached me.

  “Alex..” She called me, she looked a bit shy. “Can we talk for a minute?” She asked.

She seemed very serious and that also made me think that she, maybe, has something important to say to me, so..

  “Yeah, sure.” I immediately said while nodding my head.

She smiled and then she asked me to come with her to the beach.

  “Is there something.. you want to tell me?” I asked her when we’re already at the beach.

  “I just wanna ask..” She clears throat first. “Do you really love Henry?”

After hearing that question, I was like..

  What’s going on?

Henry also asked me the same thing earlier and I was really.. shocked.

  “I wonder what’s happening?” I said while laughing awkwardly. “It seems like.. everybody’s doubting me.”

  “It’s not that I’m doubting you.” She then said shyly. “I just want to be sure.”

  “Well..” I sighed deep first. “Yes, I love him. I love him very much and.. I can no longer imagine my life without him.”

  She smiled then she nodded her head. “I’m so glad to hear that from you.” Then she sighed loudly. “You know what, Alex.. I have no intentions of letting everybody, especially Henry, to know about this, but I..” She paused for a moment then she breathes deeply. “I just want to get this off of my chest and then move on.” She paused again and then, “I like Henry.” Then she confessed.
