WORRIER (Alex's POV)

Alex’s POV

  “And where do you think you’re going?” I asked Henry right when I came back to his room and saw him already dressed up and looked like was about to leave.

  “To school.. probably?” He says. “Where else do you think?”

  I shook my head. “No, you’re not leaving this room.” Then I closed the door of his room and leaned against it.

  “Alex, I can’t afford to skip my classes.” He reasoned.

  “But you can afford to skip the moment to be with me the whole day?” I said then I watched him very carefully, waiting if what will be his reaction.

  “Why?” He asked wondering. “Aren’t you going to attend your classes today?”

  I shook my head. “Because I wanna take care of you until you feel better.”

  I saw him about to smile, but it looks like he was stopping himself to show me that smile. “But I already feel better now.” Then he said.

  I walked closer to him. “You still have a fever.” I said after checking him and I felt that his body is still hot, but not as hot like he was last night. “I want you to rest the whole day so that you can fully recover fast because.. you’re attending the valentine’s party with me.” I added with full of excitement.

But I was stunned when Henry didn’t even show a little bit amount of excitement with what I said.

  And to my greatest surprise, “I’m not gonna attend that party.” He says.

  “But why?” I asked him wondering.

  He shook his head. “You’d be surprise, maybe, but.. even though I am a prince and probably you’re expecting me to be so used to attending parties and events, but if I were really to ask.. I’d prefer to be alone.” He says.

I was staring at him closely while he was talking and I can see a flash of sadness in his eyes while he was saying all that and that suddenly made me worry and at the same time, more curious about him.

  “I’d prefer to stay alone..” He paused a bit and stared at me for a moment before he added, “With you.”

  “But, baby..” I held both of his arms. “I’ll be in that party and I want you to be there, too, with me.”

  But he shook his head again. “No, Alex. I don’t want to.” He firmly said. “And there’s nothing you can do to convince me.” He even added while shaking his head.
