Getting Closer (Henry's POV)

Henry’s POV

  I’m lying on Alex’s bed while pretending to be reading my notes.

Yes, just pretending, because what I’m really doing is.. staring at Alex while he’s so busy studying.

I can’t help but admiring him.

One of the reasons is his devotion and dedication to his study, that’s so admirable for me.

But sometimes I also can’t help but to be worried about him, he almost forget to take care of himself because he’s so busy with school.

There were days too that he got no more time even to shave because he’s always in a rush.

Just like today.

But I’m not complaining even if he’s not shaved because I realised that he’s still good-looking with stubbles on his face, he looks so hot and I also couldn’t help but think if how would it feel exactly on my skin when he kissed me.

I’m imagining that he’s —

  I was stunned for a second when I suddenly realised what’s running on my mind at the moment. “Seriously? What the fuck was that?” I asked myself.

  “Are you saying something?” Alex suddenly asked and I’m totally surprised.

  I looked at him. “Uhm, no.” I even shook my head. “I’m just reading my notes here.” I lied, of course.

  “Notes?” Alex repeats, then he suddenly laughed.

  “Yeah, notes.” I said while wondering. “Why?” I asked then I laughed awkwardly.

Alex just shook his head then he turned to read his book again.

I sighed deeply.

I felt relieved that he didn’t ask more, because if he did.. I might accidentally reveal myself.

When he turned to his books again, I’m all free to stare at him again.

But I didn’t expect that he’ll look back so suddenly, he caught me staring at him and I was so startled, then I quickly turned to my notes and pretend to be reading.

But a little later, I just found myself laughing at myself and so is Alex.
