A/N: Why not update twice?
Kira got back to the dorms a little later. But everyone knew she was doing work with the police.
They hadn't yet been introduced to the idea of work studies. But they would be soon enough, the only reason Kira was taken on again so quickly was because of the League attacking Camie. They figured she could be of use investigating.
Unfortunately she really wasn't.
She got there and greeted her classmates with a yawn. Dressed in her usual civilian clothes. She had left her uniform at the station, she switched between it and her hero costume during her work-study.
Pretty much everyone was there, as she fixed herself a plate of the slightly cold food and could feel a certain pair of eyes on her.
"Could you stop staring?" Kira asked, looking over at her uncle.
"What- oh! Sorry Kira! How was work?" He asked, clearing his throat.
Kira caught him watching her a lot. It wasn't creepy, just unnerving. Ever since he talked to All for One he seemed happier than ever to see Kira. Sure he had been getting better guardian wise way before that. But now he was genuinely trying his best to be there for her whenever she needed. He saw his friend in her.
Nana Shimura, or rather Kyra Kokoa.
Kira's namesake. Her aunt, everything Kira knew about her was from All Might's thoughts. He spoke with Kira when he got back, knowing she would find out anyways.
Her father had a sister. Who was also a wielder of one for all, who was All Might's friend and mentor.
She found her uncle watching her more often than he used too. Thinking about Shimura. Seeing their similarities anyplace he could. The way Kira smiled and laughed, how did he miss this before?
Kira was just as related to her as she was to him. Kira found herself wanted to know more about her, but not wanting to ask him about her yet. She didn't know why.
She was also related to the criminal Shigaraki. Who was the man that had permanently scarred her leg and basically told her that he wanted her dead.
But they were trying not to think too much about her distant cousin and instead focus on the good.
Nana Shimura.
She understood why he watched her so much now, why he took more care of her. She was a living reminder of his sister and mentor. While it made things a little awkward for Kira she still... Understood it.
He had lost so many people, just like she had. Lost his sister and one of his best friends. His mentor... Kira couldn't imagine losing Mr Aizawa. If she did she'd be devastated.
She'd hold onto every piece of him, even if it was just a relative of his. She'd want to protect them too, form a relationship with them. Love them.
She understood that she was that person to her uncle. They might have had problems in the past but he was a different person than he once was. He was a sort of friend to her now.
"It was fine, we didn't find out anything good though. That Toga villain disappeared without a trace." Kira answered him. Taking a bite of coldish rice. "The witness was no help either."
"Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. I'm sure you guys will find something out tomorrow."
All Might said with a smile."I'm not going tomorrow, I'm going to see Dr Peppy." Kira clarified.
"Again?" Her uncle asked. She'd been going over a lot recently. Especially after her quirk upgrade.
They were calling it: "Blood rush"
