"So what are we doing?" Hawks asked. He was starting to regret agreeing to give the Mindreader a free favor. Especially now that she was being so secretive.

"Just take me to this Address and wait outside. Then take me wherever afterwards. No big deal." Kira shrugged as she put in the address.

"Alright... Where exactly are we going?" He asked, looking at the unfamiliar address she put in the GPS.

"Visiting someone." Kira shrugged. "You ask a lot of questions."

"I said I owe you a favor. Never said it was no questions asked." He shrugged. "This better not be illegal."

"It's not illegal." Kira rolled her eyes. "Could possibly get rocky though. Guess we'll have to see."

"Exactly how rocky are we talking?" He asked with a frown.

"Nothing worse than what you've faced as a pro. So don't worry." Kira waved her hands. "And besides, If everything goes how I want it'll be a smooth operation."

"Operation? I Thought we were just meeting someone??" He asked with an eyebrow raised.

"Jeez can't you just drive?" Kira crossed her arms over her chest.

"I am so gonna regret this..." Hawks whispered under his breath. Then he turned up the radio and the two drove together while listening to a fastpaced pop song.

"A hospital?" Hawks asked as Kira unbuckled. "Wait what type of hospital-"

"Just stay in here and wait okay? It might be over an hour though." Kira said, getting out of the car. She didn't give him much opportunity to argue with her.

Hawks crossed his arms and slumped in the driver's seat. Pouting just slightly.

Kira rolled her eyes and walked out of the car. She wasn't quite sure what he plan is here, but she knew she had to get in.

She walked through the doors too the front desk. Deciding to talk her way in. She had just walked in and a part of her already wanted to leave. So many weird thoughts in her head. So many tormented patients. So much pain.

Kira smiled at the receptionist.
"Hey, can I speak with you?"

Kira walked down the halls after being directed to the patient she was interested in visiting. At first the receptionist had declined her visit since it wasn't scheduled and she was a stranger. So Kira just lied, saying she was actually a distant cousin.

It took a bit but eventually the nurse relented and gave her the room number.

Kira walked towards the hall. She was starting to realize she had no idea what she was doing. What was she supposed to say? Why exactly was she here?

No she knew why she was here. She had to see. To hear. To understand so she could make a decision, a plan.

She stopped at the door, hearing soft thoughts on the other side. She sighed and knocked softly. There was a muffled response and she could sense confusion on the other side.

She opened the door and stepped in. Immediately bowing to the patient inside.

She stared in confusion.

"Hello, Mrs Todoroki."

"So... You were on of Shoto's classmates?" Rei asked. Sitting on the bed across from Kira, what sat on a chair. Kira nodded.

"Yes ma'am." She said. "I'm sure you've heard about everything."

Rei looked out the window. "Yes."
"Hard to say yes to that. I know nothing, not what he did or why. Just that my youngest son was arrested, and my oldest..."

"Before we speak I want to be completely upfront with you ma'am." Kira smiled softly. "My quirk allows me to hear thoughts."

The woman blinked. "Oh..." She whispered. "Well thank you for informing me." Rei said with a nervous expression. "Oh dear what if I think of something distressing. I might upset her..."

"You don't have to worry about that." Kira waved her hand. "You won't believe the things I've heard."

"So why... May I ask, are you here to see me?" Rei asked Kira with a small frown.

"I think you know some important information regarding your son Shoto. And I have some that you might want to know was well. I figured we could help eachother out. If that's alright." Kira said carefully.

"Yes that... That's alright. Though I don't believe I have any important information." Rei shook her head.

"I think you do... So you don't know why Shoto was arrested?" Kira asked. She frowned when the woman shook her head. "I... Won't go into too many details. But I will say this... He... He was working for a villain organization. Known as the league of villains. Have you heard of them?"

The womans eyes widened. "That's... That the some one Touya was..." She trailed off.

"That's the one. They attacked UA on multiple occasions. This is where I think you can help. They were lead by a man known... As All for one. Do you know him?" She asked.

Rei Frozen in horror. "Oh dear God..." She whispered, covering her mouth with her hands. "Oh God it's all my fault isn't it..."

"It's alright ma'am. Just breathe." Kris whispered when she noticed the womans mind slipping. "Tell me what you know. Tell me what happened." Kira said as the woman lifted her eyes.

"It's all my fault..."

"You did what you did because you were in a horrible situation. Anyone else would have done the same." Kira said calmly. Holding onto the woman's shoulders.

"My son-" She sobbed. Kira had grabbed her some tissues as she tried to keep the older woman from falling into a full panic attack. "He's in that place because of me..."

"It's not because of you. You're a victim too, of both All for one and Endeavor." Kira said trying to calm her. "Listen, I think you're in danger here." She whispered.

Kira looked around, she hoped the room wasn't bugged. Anyone could be listening to them right now, but she couldn't afford to not tell the woman what's going on.

"I think... That both you and Shoto are good people at heart who were forced to do bad things to protect themselves. I understand that and I've been there myself." Kira continued, holding the woman's shoulders gently. Rei looked up, face red from sobbing. "Please don't blame yourself for all of this."

"You're so kind..." The woman whispered. "It's been awhile... Since someone other than my children came and spoke to be this way... It was nice finally being able to talk about what happened. After all this years of it tormenting me..."

"So are you..." Kira whispered. "I want to help you."

"How?" Rei asked.

Kira had a new look of determination. One that Rei hoped to wear one day as well. She couldn't help but feel wrong. How a child was being braver than she was...

"Starting... With getting you out of here."
