"Kira?" All might peeked into Kira's room. She was sitting on the child's bed playing a video game. All might had taken a trip back to UA since... Well he did still work there.
It had been about two days since he gave Kira her options. The license and ticket still sat on the counter where they were left. Kira felt hesitant to even touch them.
"There's... Someone who wants to see you." Her uncle scratched the back of his neck. "They're here, I tried to tell them to wait a few days but... Well they were insistent."
Kira sat up.
"Just ask and I'll send them away. If you want."
"No that's... Fine." Kira trailed off as she caught onto a familiar train of thought.
She hadn't expected a visit. Especially not from this individual. She was surprised and not yet sure if it was in a pleasant way.
"Actually... Can we talk alone?" Kira asked her uncle. All might looked around.
"We are- Oh you mean the two of you! Yes yes of course." He said awkwardly. Kicking himself for such an embarrassing misunderstanding. "I need to head to two anyways. Call me if you need me to come back alright?"
"Alright. But it won't be necessary." Kira shook her head. She waited for All Might to leave the house. Cautiously walking towards the living room.
The blonde sat on the couch, looking around curiously. Not yet noticing Kira standing in the hallway. The living room was unfinished. He sat on a couch in the middle of the room. Paint buckets and boxes around him as a fresh coat of blue paint dried on the walls.
"Should I go in? Wait? This is so damn awkward. I don't know what to say after everything-"
"Didn't expect to see you so soon..." Kira spoke. Stepping into the room.
"Hawks."

"Nothing that happened was your fault." Kira said, sitting on a bench outside the house. The breeze was cool and calming.
"I should have stopped them." Hawks whispered. His voice was just now recovered. He spoke in whispers and sometimes used a phone to communicate.
"You were doing your job. Looking at the bigger picture. So was I." She said calmly.
They sat side by side. Hawks had some serious burn scars. His hair cut shorter than last time she saw him.
"That's not fair to you. You're a kid... You shouldn't have had to do that." He shook his head.
"But I did. So it's too late now." Kira shrugged. "Besides I got you back."
He frowned. "Huh?"
"Who do you think told Dabi your name?" She asked, turning to look at him as he raised his eyebrows in surprise.
"You-"
"I sent him after you, telling him everything. I figured you could keep him busy while I escaped. I'm yeah reason you're grounded for the time being." She said with a small smile. "Sometimes heroes have to make sacrifices."
"Right... Sacrifices..." He whispered. She looked at the ground. At an ant as it crawled over his shoe. Sacrifices...
He thought of Jin. Of Twice.
"So he died too?" Kira asked with a whisper. Looking at the same any as it walked into a stone. Running around in circles.
"...yes." Hawks whispered in confirmation. "It shouldn't have had to come too that if... If he had just..." He put his head in his hands. "Why?"
"He was devoted to his friends. Needing them more than life itself he..." Kira stopped and watched as a teardrop dropped infront of the ant. Causing it to move in the opposite direction. "He was a good man."
"And I killed him." Hawks whispered. Watering the grass with his own tears. "What does that make me?"
"...I don't know." Kira whispered. "There would have been a lot more casualties... If he had gotten loose with his quirk. Maybe both of us would have been killed." She said speaking his reasoning.
"I know... But I still can't help but... Regret it." Hawks shook his head. "I wamted to help him. But all I did..."
Kira choked back a sob. "All you did was cause him harm..." She whispered. No longer thinking of Hawks and Twice. "I know the feeling... Maybe it should have been us instead."
"... maybe." Hawks said. Starting to realize they were no longer talking about just him.
"It's kinda funny..." Kira chuckled. Rubbing her eyes. "How we both came out murderers."
His eyes widened slightly. "What-"
"I killed Momma." Kira confessed. Even though Bakugou knew... She still felt the weight of the need to confess in her heart.
"Well... That's more understandable than Jin." Hawks mumbled. He wrapped an arm around Kira's shoulder. "I'm sorry kid. About everything."
"This world sucks ass." He thought bitterly as they looked out over the field across the road from her house.
"That's for sure." Kira agreed.
"If you ever need anything. A favor or something. I owe you one alright?" He said, pulling back and handing her a piece of paper with his contact information.
"OooOo a favor from the number two hero?" Kira said, wiping her nose. "I might just take you up on that."
"Nothing too crazy though." He said with a nervous expression.
"You said anything though. Didn't you?" Kira said with a smirk. Nudging him playfully.
"Am I gonna regret this?" He asked with a sigh.
"Maybe." She, returning his sigh with a laugh. "Thanks though. You didn't have to do all of this..."
"Yeah. I guess technically not but I wanted to check on you. I didn't get the chance when you were in the hospital." Hawks shrugged. "Because I was also... In the hospital..."
"That's alright. You're the reason I got out anyways." Kira turned to him. "Bakugou and Naomasa told me what you did with the books. It was pretty smart. For a chicken."
"Chicken?! We're doing name calling now? Here I was thinking we were on good terms." He said with a smirk. "Also what's up with you and that guy? You seemed pretty tight at the sports festival."
Kira sat back. "Honestly I don't know. We haven't had much chance to talk since I got back. Other than online."
"Ooooh so you're an item?" Hawks asked, 'OoOoing' like a teenage girl. "Not gonna lie I kinda pegged you as fruity."
"Oh shut it."
