16: 𝑇𝑜𝑔𝑎

"AIZAWA!!" Kira screamed as she heard the walls begin to talk again.

A rock flew from the wall, straight towards her teacher. But someone took the blow.

No, two someone's.

Kirishima and Fatgum both had the same idea. Colliding with each other, then pushing Aizawa out of the way. The rock hit them into a hole in the wall and they fell down, soon they were completely out of Kira's reach.

"Damn it!" Kira yelled. Ripping off her headphones to try and hear them. "Kiri!" She screamed, but the hole in the wall sealed up.

"Shit." Aizawa said, rubbing his side. "That was meant for me. But they both took it, Fatgum I can accept but Kirishima?! That's my own student. I'm supposed to protect him, not the other way around."

"They'll be fine, they have each other." Kira put a hand on her teachers back.

"We're losing too many men." Rock Lock said. "Those two kids... Damn it I wish I could go back to the Suneater boy at least. That red head was one of the bravest here. I can't let them all get hurt!" The stoic man was taking this hard. Harder than he let on. Kira knew that he was a new father, having a son and a loving wife. He saw his child in all of them, he didn't want to see them hurt.

He was a good man.

"Hey." Kira said, he glanced over. "We're going to be okay." She said, staring at him.

He blinked. Kira wasn't talking about all of them, she was talking specifically about herself and her classmates.

He looked away. "I almost forgot what her quirk was..."

"Kirishima is tough as nails." She continued. "He wouldn't want us to worry about him." Kira said as though she wasn't completely dying inside.

Her friend had disappeared and she had no way to make sure he was okay. She almost wished she had some of his blood. So she could contact him, but she didn't even know if she could contact two people at once.

Would she have to forfeit reconnecting with Eri if she used it on someone else?

"She's right. Let's go and make our fallen comrades proud!" Nighteye said. Wanting his own encouraging speech. "She's as inspirational as her uncle! I knew she had a little bit of All Might in her!"

"They're not dead!" Midoriya whined as they began running again. "Yet. I hope Kirishima is okay... He's a pretty decent guy. Tamaki too."

'Aww character development.' Kira thought with a satisfied smile before running after him.

Kira knew it was suspicious when the tunnel suddenly opened up. But there wasn't much she could do when they entered it.

The walls could open and shut randomly, trapping them in there. All of them stood in a huge room.

Kira looked around, but she couldn't hear anyone in there. A few faint muffles from the walls and behind them. But nothing more.

Then another wall dropped down. And another. Kira felt an arm grab her and pull her backwards suddenly, a wall crashed down right in front of her. An inch from her nose.

"Damn it!" Rock Lock yelled, letting go of her. "They're trying to separate us." He grunted, hitting the wall.

"Thanks for the save." Kira gasped, glancing around. "MOVE!" She yelled, pushing his head down as a familiar villain swung a knife at him. Kira jumped over his back and tackled her.

"TOGA!" She yelled in recognition. But oddly enough... She wasn't thinking.

Kira was sure she could think.
