74: 𝐷𝑒𝑏𝑟𝑖𝑒𝑓

"Kira?" Naomasa said, sitting across from the girl as she sat up on her bed. "Hey..."

Kira smiled slightly at him, since the initial reunion between her and everyone else she hadn't smiled all that much. She still seemed to be herself but a little more reserved...

Which in all honesty was better than Most of them had expected from someone who went through what she did.

Bakugou hadn't left her side, to the point where reluctantly the nurses switched rooms so they both had a bed. Bakugou sat in hai with his arms crossed. Wanting to be closer, but content for now to just be with her. Close enough that he could reach out and brush her if he really tried.

"We were all so worried for you... I... I was worried for you." Naomasa said. He was having trouble expressing everything he felt. The horror and fear he had felt when he found out. The desperation he faces when he wasn't able to find her. And now the relief that came over him when he saw here here.

"I know..." Kira whispered, hoping he'd see she understood how he felt.

He gave a strained smile and nodded. "I... I really am glad to have you back." The man said awkwardly. "I got you the bear." He gestured at the stuffed animal on the table next to all the cards. It's from everyone at the station but... I picked it out."

"Thanks Naomasa... For everything." Kira said with a smile. Looking at the bear.

"Now." Naomasa cleared his throat and adjusted himself. "There's no rush. We understand that what you went through was hard and will be difficult to talk about but... The more information we have the better... If you want to wait we can until you're ready but-"

"No it's... It's alright." Kira shook her head. "Honestly I was isolated for most of it. Especially the first week or so... I barely saw anyone..."

"Right." Naomasa nodded. "That alone could drive anyone crazy... But it wasn't all she went through... That much is obvious."

"I was brought in with most of the league once. After the first week, it seemed like they couldn't decide what to do with me... Some of them wanted me dead while others thought I'd be useful in some way..." Kira hugged her arms. "That's when I came up with the plan to steal the blood from Toga. It turned out to be Midoriya's."

"Right... And who all was there? Who all did you see in person?" Naomasa asked, taking out his notebook. "Knowing the inner circle and anyone Kira interacted with could be helpful. Especially if she has any information on them..."

"Spinner, the man with the gecko quirk. He was the main one who wanted me dead. He's a stain follower and wasn't happy with the fact that I shot him down." Kira said, thinking for a moment. "Dabi who..." She frowned.

"Endeavor's son." Naomasa said. "He released a video publicly right after the attack, I think it's because he knew you'd tell us anyways. He also wanted to bash is father's image."

"The hell?" Bakugou spoke up. "Crusty bastard is The dirt bag's brother? So that's fucking why he did it."

Kira shook her head. "No... No Shoto didn't know Dabi was his brother." She said. "He became involved before Dabi did..."

"Really?" Naomasa asked, writing it down.

"Where... Where is he? I know he was arrested but..." Kira asked.

"Hell." Bakugou mumbled.

"He's in Tartarus." Naomasa corrected Bakugou. "While it's a little unorthodox to send a Minor there without a full trial... It was the only place we were sure could hold him."

"He should be dead." Bakugou grumbled to himself. "This is all his fault. Everything that happened. Kira's hurt and almost died because of him."
