Miso hissed.
The cat arched her back as far as she could and backed into a corner. At the door was a person. Miso saw plenty of those, so that wasn't the problem.
The person had short black hair and tired brown eyes. In fact the person looked very familiar. It looked like Kira.
But it wasn't. Miso knew it wasn't. Causing her to hiss and spit at the teen standing across from her. Who tilted her head curiously. "Oh so you're Miso." She mumbled, not that Miso really understood.
The cat slowly backed under the bed.
That person smelled all wrong. Their eyes weren't right. It was uncanny, she looked like Kira in every way. But she definitely was not Kira. Miso felt like whoever this was, she was a danger. She was bad.
Cats were a good judge of character.
The fake Kira hummed and plopped on Kira's bed. Kicking her legs. "This is so boring. What am I supposed to do here all night?" She complained. "I want to talk to Izuku."
Miso stayed under the bed.
The girl smelled kinda like blood, and there was another smell on her. Like a scent rubbed off of someone else. The second one was familiar to Miso, but the young feline couldn't figure out why. Shaking her head and letting out a small sneeze. Stayed tucked behind a few boxes under the bed.
Where it was safe.

That night the uncanny stranger left. Miso was glad about that. The cat moved gracefully from under the bed to the blankets on top. Waiting for her real owner to enter the room.
The cat would hiss and meow all about her traumatic experience to let Kira know there was some type of imposter running around.
But she didn't show. Miso was used to Kira coming in and out at random times in the night. But now something felt off. Kira's smell slowly started to leave the room and Miso started to walk around it. Entertaining herself with her almost empty food bowl and her feathery toys laying about.
When morning came someone burst into the room. Miso jumped up and hissed by default. Glaring at the man who interrupted her calm morning.
She had seen the man before. She knew him as a friend, he was the oldest among the group of humans that lived in this building. Long shaggy hair and eyes that looked like Kira's. He always seemed to be tired.
Miso quit hissing and walked up to his feet. She rubbed them and meowed. Telling him all about how she was hungry and how Kira was gone and probably dead.
He didn't give her much acknowledgement at first with irritated the kitten. He walked through and opened the closet. Looked under the bed and started to go through the things on Kira's desk.
Miso hopped onto of the desk and let out a few frustrated noises. Trying to alert the man to what was important.
Her empty food bowl.
The tired teacher looked down at the cat and put a hand on her head with a long sigh. Miso rubbed against him, her throat making a pleased vibration.
He backed away and walked back to the door. Leaving the room without filling Miso's bowl.
This angered Miso. She wouldn't have bothered with giving him affection if she knew he would just forget to feed her.

Miso was beginning to feel frustrated. As much as a cat could feel frustrated at least. Kira always fed her in the morning. Here morning was and you know what wasn't there?
