Shoto had been spending everyday with Kira and All Might. Sleeping on the couch in their living room. It wasn't the most comfortable situation for anyone but Shoto never complained. Neither did All Might, out loud at least.

The man was nice and tried to understand Shoto. But he had kidnapped his only living relative, leading to her almost dying several times. It was somewhat understandable for the man to be a little on edge around the guy.

Kira on the other hand was completely adjusted to her new brother figure.

"After this I'm taking you clothes shopping. You can't keep wearing my uncle's shit." Kira said walking through the grocery store. Todoroki wordlessly carried the blue basket of their snacks. Kira was buying all the snacks she knew Todoroki never tried.

"Do you think he minds?" Todoroki asked, looking down at his shirt that just said 'I am here' in red and yellow bold text. Apparently her uncle bought a lot of his own merch that now didn't fit his deflated form. So he handed it over to Todoroki.

"Nah, but I'm sick of seeing all of his merchandise every time I look at you." Kira shrugged.

Todoroki just hummed in response setting the basket down once they made it to the registers. Kira piled up multiple candy bars onto the belt by the cashier. Who gave them a simple greeting before scanning the groceries.

Kira looked up from the candy, ready to pay once the cashier was ready but she stopped for a second.

There wasn't anything notable about the girl. Her hair was brown with a reddish hint to it. She had freckles and what appeared to be acne scars scattered over her face. Along with a nose ring and a small amount of concealer. She was shorter than Kira by a few inches and was utterly... Ordinary.

And yet Kira immediately felt like... She shouldn't be there. This girl was so normal and yet so out of place. For no reason at all.

Other than her thoughts.

Which were pretty much non-existent. But not like Denki Kaminari or Tammy Tanaka or Nezu. She had thoughts. Kira for some reason KNEW that she did. But she just couldn't hear them in the slightest. There was something so weird about her and Kira couldn't even figure it out.

"Your total is..." The cashier said casually, looking up at Kira expectantly.

Kira blinked and then shook her head. "Right sorry." She mumbled, she's never been caught off guard so much by a person just existing. She swiped her card and glanced at the girl as she typed something down on the screen.

Maybe it was something to do with Monoma's quirk. Or maybe this was normal and that she had a quirk that gave this sort of effect.

On top of everything Kira also felt... Looking into her blue eyes, that she knew her. That this person was someone she had known forever and yet she couldn't place how at all.

"Here's your receipt." She said with a mandatory smile. Sticking her arm out holding the paper. Kira took it in hand, her finger brushing the girls.

She felt a tingle where the contact was made as Monoma's quirk activated. Taking hers if she wanted it. It felt different from the others she's taken, stronger.

She accepted it against her better judgement. Waiting for her to feel something that showed her what the quirk was.

But it didn't come.

"You guys have a nice day." The cashier said with a smile. Turning to face the next customer.

Kira walked out with Todoroki behind her. "Did she seem weird to you?" She asked him. Glancing back into the windows of the store.

"Who?" Todoroki tilted his head.

"The cashier... Darbie." Kira whispered. Looking at her hand.

"...no?" He asked, looking back. "Did you read something weird?"

Kira shook her head. "I got nothing from her..." She looked down at her hand again. She could feel a quirk but nothing significant that activated on it's own. But she could have sworn there was a certain power to her. But right now the only feeling Kira got...

Was an odd urge to write.

"Hm, so basically I could have gotten out either way?" Todoroki asked looking at Kira's phone.

"Thats hardly an appropriate thing to say in a situation like this!" All Might said, rubbing his face and panicking.

All for one had been broken out of prison by Shigaraki and Nomu. The same person that Kira had just broken Todoroki out of.

"...Sorry." Todoroki said with a blank face. Though he did feel bad for offending All Might.

"I think it would be best if we all returned to living at UA. Nezu hasn't quite finished everything he needed to regarding accepting Todoroki back. But I can't let either of you walk around unprotected with All for one is out." All Might decided. "We'll just have to take them off guard by showing up today."

"Sounds good." Kira gave him a thumbs up.

"I... I need to make a few calls." All might said walking out. Thinking of every pro and police he wanted to talk too now that his nemesis was free from jail.

"So... We're going back then?" Todoroki asked as the door closed.

"Yeah, I mean that was always the plan."  Kira shrugged and turned to him. "Are you... Okay with that?" She asked, putting a hand on his shoulder.

He looked at the ground. "Of course..." He whispered. Lying. "Can't... Scared... Reject... Owe... Kira... All Might..."

"You don't owe me anything Todoroki. I understand that you don't want to go back... That you're scared but..." She sighed. "It's going to be alright."

"I owe you everything... I owe them everything." He put his head in his hands. "Everything bad that happened at UA happened because of me. All of it. The break in, the USJ attack, the summer camp attack, Bakugou being kidnapped, you being kidnapped. People could have died. People got brutally injured and it was all my fault."

"It wasn't Shoto. You didn't want to do any of  that." Kira shook her head. "You're just a kid Shoto... You didn't mean for any of this to happen. You were just trying to protect your mother."

"I know but..." He reached his hand up to run through his hair, only for it to fall through due to the short length. He dropped his hands. "The way they looked at me... They hate me Kira. I don't know if I can go back... I don't want to be alone while among the people that once saw me as a friend."

"You won't be alone. You have me, they'll come around eventually. It'll just take time."
Kira whispered.

He glanced over at that, then looked down again. "...I guess but..." He stopped looking down with a frown. "Bakugou... Kill... Hate... Me..."

Kira laughed and shook her head. "Bakugou isn't going to kill you Todoroki."

"But he wants to." Todoroki said with an almost pout. "They all do... And I deserve it."

"Nonsense." Kira waved her hand. "I think if we explain what happened they'll understand. It might take awhile but they will. They're your friends Shoto."

"... Maybe." He muttered. "I'm sorry Kira... About everything that happened to you and to everyone."

"I know you are..." Kira said with a smile. "That's why you're here."
