73: 𝑅𝑒𝑢𝑛𝑖𝑜𝑛

Kira woke up. After a day of being in the hospital. Her eye opened and stared at the white ceiling of the hospital...

It was so different then the one that had been in her cell. Clean, tiled, with little black dots on it. She stared at it for a few more moments, taking a deep breath.

She had expected fuzzy confusion. Not knowing where she was or what happened.

But Kira's mind felt sharper than it had all month. She sat up. Looking around the dim room, she didn't see anyone else. But there were remnants of people there.

Cards wishing her well, flowers a stuffed animal. And a few other items showing the support and love of her friends.

There was also a rumpled up pillow and blanket on the couch beside her bed. Indicating someone had slept there that night. Half eaten hospital food and a water still cold enough to be wet with condensation proved they had been there recently.

Kira turned to the window, light trickling through the curtains. She inhaled slowly, at peace for the first time since she had been taken away. She turned and climbed out of the bed onto her feet, taking out the heart monitor and pulling the IV stand with her.

She opened the window.

She was met with sunlight.

His eyes opened and Bakugou shot up so quickly he almost reopened the stitches on his abdomen. He ripped off the oxygen mask he had on and grimaced in pain, holding his gut.

He didn't remember much, had he actually taken a stab to the gut for Deku of all people?! What a moron.

He thought, rubbing his eyes as it all flashed back.

"HES AWAKE!!!" Sero yelled, him, Sato and Hagakure were all sitting in his room.

"BAKUGOU THANK GOD WE-"

"What happened?" Bakugou interrupted Hagakure as she started babbling.

"Well after you were knocked out Shigaraki got away... Midoriya is still beaten up and not awake but-"

"BUT WE SAVED KIRA!!" Hagakure interrupted Sero's explanation.

"HEY!! I WANTED TO TELL HIM!" Sero whined. "Why'd you have to steal my thunder like that-"

"She's in the hospital! We had been in her room but a nurse kicked us out so All might could get some sleep- HEY DON'T STAND UP!"

Bakugou was out of his bed in a second after hearing Kira wasn't only safe, but I'm this hospital.

"Dude! You're hurt sit down!" Sato yelled, grabbing Bakugou's shoulder. "You're gonna hurt yourself again! Don't take that out-"

Bakugou ripped out his IV and got on his feet. "Get the fuck off of me!"

"Neither of you guys are in the condition too-"

"I don't care! I'm gonna see her and I'll kill your if you stop me!" Bakugou snapped, walking out the door as though he didn't have two teenage boys trying to hold him back. Sato and Sero were pulled out the door into the hallway. Hagakure yelled at him from the room to sit back down.

He pulled down the hall. Not quite sure where Kira's room was. But he was determined to find it, even if he had to search every room.

But then one down the hall opened up. And out stepped the exact person he wanted to see.

She stepped out of the room, her one visible eye wide and mouth parted. Her skin was clean and she was dressed in a hospital gown.

He stopped in shock. Her hair was longer than he had ever seen it, the parts from the bottom of her head touched her shoulders while her bangs stopped at her jaw. The rest falling between her ears and her shoulders. It was silky and black.
