90: 𝐻𝑒𝑙𝑙𝑜... 𝑆ℎ𝑜𝑡𝑜 ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑒

Kira sighed at the door. Knowing full well All Might had failed to tell her classmates about her and Todoroki's arrival.

But maybe that was a good thing, having Kira there to help explain would definitely help things along. She was the last one he directly betrayed, so they would listen when SHE said to give him a chance.

Not to mention how much they trusted her opinions on almost everything. She just had to convince them that Todoroki was harmless... Before a certain Blonde tried to murder him.

"Maybe I should just stay with my mom..." Shoto whispered. The two had obviously been reunited earlier. Many tears were shed and apologies were whispered in-between sobs. While Kira and Mrs Rei's new bodyguard just stood by awkwardly. It was great.

"They don't even have to know I'm here." He suggested.

"Bad idea. If they so much as see you on campus without any explanation they'll freak. We need to talk with them, just... Let me lead okay?" Kira asked, adjusting his glasses. "Follow me."

"I can't see... It's too dark to be wearing these..." He Mumbled. Looking through his sunglasses, that were big and dark enough to block his eyes and most of his scar from sight.

"You look cool. Like a mysterious... Hipster." Kira said with hesitation, pulling his beanie over a tuft of red hair.

"...I'm..." He stopped and sighed. "Let's just go in." Shoto said, jaw set. "Can't... Scared... Hide... Soldier... Hero..."

"It's okay to be scared Shoto. You're a kid, not a soldier." Kira reassured him with a smile.

He stared at her. Then reached up and brushed her head, right beside her scars. It was impulsive and random. He hadn't thought much about the action before he did it.

"I'm sorry... For everything... You're such a good person. You didn't have to forgive me... Let alone get me out of jail and risk your life to make sure my mother was safe..." He whispered. Brushing hair from her forehead.

"It was just the right thing to do Shoto..." She took his hand and gently guided it away. The gesture was sweet but a part of her found it awkward. "You're a good person too. You deserve better than how you've been treated.. I want to give you a new chance."

"I don't think there are many people... Who would just give that chance to someone like me." He looked down at her. "She's... Hero... Extraordinary..."

"Maybe." Kira shrugged and walked up the steps to the dorms and put out her hand towards him. "But that doesn't mean you don't deserve it."

He smiled softly, and took her hand.

"Hiya guys!" Kira said, walking into the dorms boldly. Todoroki lingered to the side, somewhat hiding in the hallway.

"KIRA!!!" Her classmates all yelled in perfect unison, rushing towards her. She was hugged by several individuals in rapid succession.

"I THOUGHT YOU WERE DEADDDD!!!" Mina wailed, sobbing into Kira's neck.

"YOU'RE OKAY!!" Denki and Jirou said with huge smiles. "Are you back to stay?!"

"Yep!" Kira smiled back at them. Mina still holding onto her shoulders.

"Kira!!" Kirishima hugged her, even though Mina was still holding on. "Last I saw her she was unconscious in a hospital bed... Before that she was dying in my arms..." Keia felt his grip tighten just slightly before he pulled back. "Wow you look so manly- hey we have matching scars!"

He said, pointing at the small scar over his eyebrow. Though it wasn't nearly as big as the scars over Kira's eye, they both were on the same sides. His looked like a mini version of one of hers.
