W/ Julian, Sgt. Rudo, Karis & Kennon.

Setting: In A Room In The Barrack.

'Lights will guide you home

No One's POV/3rd Person.

Everyone Had been sitting around, Julian was still asleep, still recovering from the attack. He's been a little warmer than usual, but only a little. So that's why Karis Or The others hadn't been bothering to freak out that much. Karis Probably thinks that he just has a little cold, which absolutely makes no sense. So, Yeah. That's all that's been happening with the group. Until they had heard a familiar voice In the distance. "Could It..?" Karis says, and Sgt. Rudo shrugs, "no way." Karis's heart leaps as her mind ponders the thought of Kennon returning after God knows how many days, None of them really counted the days since the, Guess you could call it.. The 'Apocalypse.' Karis stood up, in search of him. She knew he was close, she just had to find where he was. "Hey, Kennon?" She Yellls Out down into the halls of the barrack.. And She simply gets A faint call back. That Sparks a small flame of Hope In Karis, She could hardly make out what the person, hopefully Kennon.. There was footsteps following her, Karis jumps and slowly turns around. It was Sgt. Rudo, Who looked Slightly Annoyed. "Karis, what are you doing? You shouls be back where the others are. Not walking around this barrack alone." Sgt. Rudo Sighs, Karis scoffs. "I can handle myself, I've been around those things long enough to have atleast SOME survival instincts." Karis argues back, Not letting Sgt. Rudo brainwash her into thinking Kennon's Gone for good and making her stay in the room with the rest of them.. (No way I'm doing that for any longer.) Karis thought spitefully, Sgt. Rudo Sighs and turns away. "We don't know when, or where, we'll find the boy. But we'll just have to be patient and let fate decide. Or our gut, who knows." Sgt. Rudo mutters to Karis. "I-" Karis starts. She never finished her sentence. "Guys!" Kennon had jogged up to them, he looked pretty stressed out.. And tired there was no doubting that he's been through some serious things during his er- well, journey.. Maybe. Karis hugged him, tight. He Didnt bother hugging back, He just nodded. Karis didnt put much thought into that, instead, she just stared at him. "Its Uh.. its really YOU." Karis still felt a little awkward, ANd Kennon nodded and shrugged. "Yep." Karis smiles at his answer. "You actually came back..." Karis felt a little stunned, looking down at the ground. "But have you seen mya?" Karis asks, her curiousity piquing. Kennon stares. He Puts his hand at the back of his head and freezes for a moment. 'She's Still with Jace, Isn't she?' Kennon thought, and that made him wonder how well the others would deal with a new 'member' that had got brought in. There would be suspicions, Yeah. but he just hopes that they take it well, Even if its a hard pill to swallow. He nods, and Kennons gaze shifts over to Sgt. Rudo. They share a nod.. And so then theres more footsteps approaching. "That must be Jace And Mya." Kennon says, his eyes brightening at the thought of Jace coming back. Karis's Face scrunches up in confusion and disgust. "Who?" Karis spat out, and Kennon doesnt respond to that. He grins, waiting patiently.. More like IMpatiently for them to return.

Soon, Figures had approaches Sgt. Rudo, Kennon & Karis. Karis Had watched with hatred as She sees This girl Kennon Had Called "Jace' Approach and Mya following behind her. Karis looked ready to implode as She sees Jace start talking to Kennon first thing they come back, serious discussion or Not. Mya Arrives beside them.. 10 second delay, It was crazy with how fast Jace was walking though. Mya nearly laughs with seeing the Vast mount of Annoyance and fury that was scribbled all Over Karis's Face At the moment. Mya mouths a 'Dang' to a Fuming Karis thats probably angry enough to have the smoke expelling out of her ears like the cartoons, maybe even the 'fire' in her eyes aswell. "I'll leave you four to it, I'll check up on Julian and Hang." Mya Says to Sgt. Rudo, Karis, Kennon And Jace. And Elbows Karis and whispers a teasing phrase in Her ear Which adds more fuel to the fire. Mya smirks and just walks off to the Direction Julian is, And Sgt. Rudo Looks like he doesnt want to get involved or dragged into what many people would call it; 'Teen drama' and so and so. Jace rolls her eyes at something Kennon says, Then walks over to Karis who Reflexively Took a step back. Which took Jace by surprise slightly but she refuses to show it. "Your Karis, Right?" Jace Queries. It Takes 3 or 4 minutes for Karis to even nod, Jace sighs. Karis was expecting a "Kennon talks about you all the time, and he tells me how amazing you are!" From this 'Jace' girl, but all She got was a "Figured." Karis knew she might've been all over the top with her expectations, but she atleast wanted something more than a 'Figured.' In such a non-chalant way as If Jace was talking about the most boring thing on the planet. "Well, Who are you?" Karis says, crossing her arms in hopes of being intimidating or rude to this girl. But all Jace did was chuckle, "Jace." Jace had responded, And Karis snorts. "...I honestly didn't expect for Kennon to come back with someone." Karis says, And Jace sighs. A smile finally started to tug at karis's lips, thnking she had gotten underneath the 'newbies' skin. Karis knew she was starting to pulloff as the 'bully bullies newbie' type, but she knew how long she's been friends with Kennon. And she wouldn't let it end at the fingertips of some random girl that'll probably end up leaving or doing something stupid. Jace shifts weight uneasily from foot to foot. "Yep, I didnt think I'd find him out there either, but theres a much more deeper meaning than whats just on the surface.. I'll tell you. that's if you'll listen, though."
