The Time Me And Dooka met a Crazy capybara: book 5, part 2.

W/ Julian, Mya, Sgt. Rudo & Karis.

Setting: In the Abandoned, ransacked military base.

No One's POV/3rd Person:

Mya sighs, Sitting outside the room in the military base. She wonders if Julian would get better quickly, or How long it will take for him to heal. Karis Slowly approached, Standing right behind her. Mya was just lost in thought of hypotheticals, stress and constantly being on edge. "Hi." Karis says, Mya Doesn't respond. Karis awkwardly shuffled her feet, hands in Pockets. "I know how you feel-" Karis starts, in an attempt to be empathetic, But Mya was quick to respond. "I Guarantee you don't." Mya says, annoyance evident in the girl's voice. Karis Blinks In surprise, she opens her mouth to speak but no words were able to come out her mouth. "...I- Mya, Look. We're all worried." Karis squeaks out a feeble attempt to get Mya to lighten up. "You think that's supposed to make me feel better? 'Oh, everyone's moping with you! So there's no reason to be upset!' " Mya says, Looking back at karis slightly. Mya scoffs in disbelief. "Really, Karis? That's all you have to say? 'We're all worried'?" Mya rolls her eyes. "I'm trying to say that you don't have to be alone!" Karis says, blinking back tears. "No. You Don't know. You don't know anything. Julian and I.. We've dealt with this situation. LONGER. LONGER THAN YOU.. OR KENNON. OR SGT. RUDO. OR ANYONE ELSE!" Mya yells, shaking and trembling with anger. "You're fear, sadness, and loneliness doesn't even come close. So stop saying you understand, Karis." Mya Stood Up, Expression cold. Karis sniffles. "That's Why Kennon is, and was a better leader than you." Karis says.. Mya freezes. "Kennon would've helped Julian out quicker than you did and he wouldn't be wounded. Even If he didn't get to Julian in time, He would've tried helping Julian out and being by his side every second of the day instead of moping outside the room!" karis yells. Mya turns around, looking ready to punch Karis. "Well Kennon isn't here, Is He? He's Gone and Probably dead." Mya says.. Karis exhales shakily, tears glistening in her eyes. "It's probably your fault he's 'dead.' " Karis shot back.. Mya clenches her fists."MY FAULT?! ALL YOU DO IS TRY TO BREAK UP FIGHTS EVEN THOUGH YOU'RE THE ONE THAT CAUSES THEM MOST OF THE TIME!" Mya snarls. "AND IF YOU CARE ABOUT KENNON SO MUCH, WHY DON'T YOU GO FIND HIM?" Mya yells. Karis stares at her, lost. "..Maybe I will. Because at least he cared about me. The rest of you just hate me." Karis says, And Mya's brow creases. "Why is that?"Mya says as sarcasm drips off her tone. "Because you're annoying, rash. Pushy, impulsive, and you pretend to care about everyone but In reality, you're an insensitive, fake person." Mya snarls, karis looks At mya with a glazed over look. "If you really think that, fine. I'll go. If I'm that much of a burden to you." Karis trembles, and Mya hardly shows any emotion or remorse to what she had just said to Karis. "Go On then." Mya says, but Karis stays put. "You Aren't kennon." Karis says, And Mya Sighs. "I know I'm not. What are you getting at?" Mya says, exasperated. "That means you Don't get to control Me. or Julian." Karis stood her ground all of the sudden now. Mya Laughs, "Bold." Karis honestly thought mya was being a Big Jerk right now. Karis was about to respond to mya's rude, teasing comment until She had heard chatter not far from here. "Duck And Hide, Quick." Mya tells her. Karis huffs and does what she's told.

"I Swear, My friends Might be here! I'm telling you Jace, We can Just check! I'm 100% Positive!" Kennon was Acting like a little boy who's finally getting some candy. Jace snorts, doubting that. "Please." Jace smirks slightly. "Have faith in my words." Kennon seemed a little offended by Jace's underestimation of him. "Fine. We can go in, But just know if we get in an impossible situation or end up dying, I'm blaming you." Jace elbowed him Slightly. Kennon nods, once smiling.. Now forced into a flat line. "Aye, Aye, Captain." Kennon tried to pretend to be a serious, professionally trained sailor or soldier, or whatever. But It ended up with the both of them laughing so hard to the point tears are forming in their eyes. "You're so stupid." Jace grins, punching Kennon slightly. "Yeah, But everyone loves the 'stupid' me." Kennon smirks, then Jace responds to that with a smug expression. "Okay, 'Ladies Man.'' Jace says and kennon snickers Then they enter the barrack. "Hello????" Kennon grinned harder than before, calling out. No response. "Shh-" Jace says, and they continue to look around.. They've been doing so for close to an Hour, And Jace gets more and more agitated while Kennon only gets more worried. "I Think we should leave." Jace says, Turning to Kennon and gives him a serious stare, staring into his apprehensive eyes. "I-" Kennon starts. "Kennon." Jace gives a look that screams 'Don't start.' Kennon scrunches up his nose and closes his eyes, rubbing the back of his neck. "I- Look- Jace, Please." Kennon sighs.. Exhausted. "No, Kennon. We're Leaving. And We're leaving now." Jace turns to leave, until she hears a gun cock way too close to comfort. The muzzle of a pistol was inches away from her head. "Who are you?" A familiar voice said. Kennon looked back. It was Mya, and she looked annoyed. Kennon wondered why she had such an angry face right now.. "Answer Me." Mya says To Jace, And Kennon tries to speak. Mya's Gaze immediately looked over to Kennon. "Stay Out Of this. You go. Go back to the others, We've been wondering where you've been." Mya says, cocking her head towards the direction the others were. Kennon let out a shaky sigh and Gave Jace A Sad look. "Just don't shoot her." Kennon pleads, extremely nervous and looking ready to cry. Hr Looked At mya then jace. Then went the direction Mya directed. "I'm only going to ask One more time. Who. Are you."
