The Time Me And Dooka met a Crazy capybara: book 5, part 12.

W/ Julian, Jace, Karis, Kennon, Mya & Sgt. Rudo

Setting: On the burnt, steep grassy field nervously eyeing the horde of capybaras coming their way.

No One's POV/3rd Person:

"What do you mean 'No We're not'?! We're clearly outnumbered, are you blind?! It's  30 to like, what, 6?" Karis yelped, nervous. "We have weapons, Don't we?" Jace says while glancing over at Karis who pauses, gulps and looks away, then nods. "Well, Yeah, what's your point?" Karis says as Jace sighs and leans over to rummage through one of the many duffle bags. "My point is," Jace Grabs one of the Guns and cocks it. She tosses it to Mya who catches it. Mya had peered down at the Gun then exhaled slightly. "....Is that we can pretty much take them on as long as we have weapons, No?" Jace says in a calm and collected manner as she looks back at the group of capybaras. "...Fine, I Guess you're right." Karis sighs, shrugging. "But That doesn't mean that we shouldnt be careful." Karis mutters, Jace rolls her eyes. "Yeah, I know that. But we can't just stand around and just cower in fear. We atleast have to do something." Jace says and tosses everyone else a weapon. "Haha! Sick!" Julian smiles at the rifle he had been handed. "....Don't get too excited. We don't need you doing anything stupid right now." Mya says and Julian scoffs and chuckles. "We look so intimidating with these guns!" Kennon says, and Julian cheered. "Mwaha! Yep! That's me, particularly. Intimidating! Rawr...." Julian grins cheerfully, Jace stares in disgust and Kennon looks awkward. "No one said you were intimidating, dude." Mya says while raising a brow. "Yeah, well, cry me a river, all of you." Julian stood his ground. "Cause I am the most menacing! Right?" Julian says and everyone falls silent. "Come on, it's obvious that I am! You guys clearly just don't want to admit it." Julian feigns offense and hurt, crossing his arms and huffing. "Hah, In your dreams, really." Kennon elbows Julian slightly. "No! Not In My Dreams, In Real life! Admit it." Julian argues, furrowing his brow. "Alright, Enough With the Banter. There's still an elephant in the room." Sgt. Rudo Gestures to the capybara's. That brought everyone back to reality. "Yeah, we better get to it." Jace cocks her gun and aims already. "Can I have another apple?" Kennon says and Julian cackles like that's the funniest thing he ever heard for some reason. "Ugh.... no. We ate like 3 hours ago, right?" Jace Looks at Sgt. Rudo, who only maintains a Neutral expression, then nods. "Alright, Fine... Lets Take 'Em." Kennon aims his gun. "We should have silencers, why don't we have some? The sounds are going to attract more of them." Mya says, a little confused. Julian shrugs. "I Mean, that's what I'm saying! That's the last thing we need. More of those nightmares coming our way." Julian chirps, then aims his gun at one of the distracted capybara's "No, Julian, WAIT!-" Bang. Mya sighs in annoyance as Julian shoots the capybara before she could say anything, "God, that was WAY too loud." Mya mumbles. Jace huffs. "They're attentions' on us now." Jace says, And Julian flinches. "Dang... oops?" Julian says awkwardly with a bashful and regretful expression on his face. "...Look. Okay. Change Of Plans, We're going to have to see if there is any other way to distract them." Sgt. Rudo Spoke up, everyone looked at eachother.
