The Incident: Book 6, Part 4.
W/ Chad & Julian
Setting: In the middle of the woods, approximately around 10 PM.
No One's POV/3rd person:
It was dead silent... the dark setting Was a little creepy, and the occasional crickets chirping. They could hardly see or hear one another.. And The only thing that was audible was the sound of their faint footsteps. "Chad?" Julian spoke up. He hardly knew if Chad was still close to him at this rate. He heard Chad exhale in annoyance. "What do you want, Idiot?" Chad snaps, exasperated and Julian sighs.. "I don't know. For my group to get back together?" Julian says, and Chad Wanted to strangle him at this rate. "I don't think that's even going to happen. Let's be realistic here." Chad says, and Julian went silent. He knew Chad was right, as much as he wished he wasn't. ....I wonder how the others are doing. Julian Thought to himself, before silence filled the air again. The soft sound of leaves crunching beneath their shoes. Chad skidded to a halt. "...Was Anyone else or anything else with you before you got separated?" Julian asked. Chad sighs and Closes his eyes, running a hand through his neatly styled and combed hair. "....That doesn't matter." Chad Mumbles, Before picking the pace back up. "Why is that your favorite word? Even before this, you'd always say 'I don't know', or 'it doesn't matter.'" Julian says, getting agitated. "Just Shut Up, Alright? You always get set off by the stupidest things. You're extremely childish-" Chad starts. Julian cuts him off. "No! You Shut up!" Julian says. Chad glances back at him. "You're annoying as hell, you know that?" Julian says. Chad says nothing, only looking ahead of him. "Let's go." Chad mumbles underneath his breath, simply just dropping the topic.
The two boys had found a resting place, underneath a tree. It was Julian's Idea to stop and rest if not sleep, obviously. Julian clears his throat and leans against the tree, sliding down. Chad seemed uneasy about sitting down on the dirty ground. Everyone knew that he was the world's biggest clean freak. Julian rolls his eyes, as he closes them and gets ready to rest.

An Hour later.... In the early morning, maybe the time range of 11 pm to 1 am.
Julian's POV/1st Person:
I woke up to the sound of leaves rustling and Chad yelling. There was a lot of commotion going on, and I immediately sat up. "AHHH!! GET OFF OF ME YOU BASTARD!" Chad screamed, and I ran over to him. I see one of the capybaras clamping down on his leg. Panicked, I get behind the capybara and grab its hind legs and try to pull. I saw a stick nearby. I grab the stick and drive it deep into the capybaras left eye. It roars, and it blindly kicks me with its powerful back leg. I fall backwards with a thud. My ears are ringing, and Everything is starting to sound muffled. And The capybara let go of Chad's leg, as the capybara was now crashing into everything in panic and destroying a few objects along the way. After about 5 minutes, the Capybara slumped to the ground, dead. Chad, breathing heavily, glances over at Me. "What the hell was that about?!" Chad was still shaken up about the whole... ordeal. I didn't blame him. "...I don't know. All the capybaras are pretty much malicious and blood thirsty now. That's what me and my group have been trying to figure out. Why they turned out this way to begin with." I say, adjusting myself. I glance at Chads' leg... which looks pretty roughed up. "You okay? You don't look like you'll be able to walk on that thing for an entire month." I say, showing Genuine concern. But With how Chad Is, He didn't take that too lightly. He scoffs. "You think?" He says. I grit my teeth in annoyance. Of course he always has to be so rude and defiant, and permanently with his nose up in the air like he's the most superior out of everyone. "I'm only trying to be nice, You stupid-" Somehow I caught myself from saying anything else. Maybe it's the thought of us possibly arguing further or knowing that I'll never get whatever I'm trying to get through his 'Amazing' And Egotistical Mindset of his. I exhale, and He Just sits there. "Here." I extend my hand to his. He glares at my hand for a hot minute before reluctantly taking it. As to be expected, he only grabs my hand in an awkward and 'I want nothing to do with you right now' type of way. I support him, and I ignore his insulting and silent/awkward body language..... And After minutes of silence, we see a camp/tent community like place set up ahead on a hill, and we glance at each other.. A flicker of hope evident in my eyes. Chad raises a brow. "You aren't thinking that-" Chad says. I passionately nod. "You need the help and we also need shelter." I say, determination filling my words. Chad sighs. We seriously switched the roles on eachother? Why is he being so level-headed all of a sudden, instead of being so overly-confident to the point it would make everyone cringe in annoyance. "That's if they even let us in, Capybara Dung for brains." He insults me. I huff, and I help him over to the camp. As The small community stood before us, ushering everywhere and repairing things that needed to be fixed and a medical tent to our left, and a larger section that appeared to be the food source compartment... It seemed pretty natural. Wheat, crops, and a wagon full of freshly picked fruits and vegetables that was being pulled by a couple of donkeys. They seemed to be eating well, as well. A healthy stature and no signs of undernourishment in this community. ...maybe this is the place for us.
