The Time Me And Dooka met a Crazy capybara: book 5, part 16(Book 5 Finale.)

W/ Corniyah, Elona & Masoma.

Setting: Near the calm and still dark-ish blue lake.

Corniyah's POV/1st Person:

I looked up from the others to see what the sudden commotion came from the bushes. "What was That." Elona says. Even Masoma, who was previously distracted and scared with the worms.. Looked at where the rest of us were looking. "Ha! What if it's a mountain lion or something?" Masoma giggles. ELona raises a brow. "A capybara would be more logical. Isn't the earth basically infested with them ever since like, whatSIx, Seven Months ago? Close to a year, almost." Elona adds to The hypotheticals. Enzo shakes his head. "Focus On the task." Enzo says he was occupied with already handling a worm in his hand and attaching it through the fishing hook as demonstration..  Masoma, being the snitch, Whined about worms being thrown on her. "Enzo..." Masoma scowled. Elona shook her head Nervously. I facepalmed in annoyance, Knowing exactly what she was about to do. "Not now. Pay attention To what I'm Doing." Enzo Only got more irritated. "ENZO!!!" Masoma shakes Him, still with the fishing hook in hand, the rapid movement causing his hand to get pierced by the fishing hook. "Oops." Masoma stares awkwardly. I Look up to see. My eyes widened. "Jeez, are you okay?" I ask. Walking over to Enzo.     "Kind of." He nods, then he turns to Masoma's direction. "What did you want- WHAT DID YOU DO?" Enzo saw the worms scattered across the ground, which basically meant no more fishing bait for who knows how long. "Yeah... Uh, about that... that's what I was trying to tell you." Masoma Awkwardly scratches the back of her head. "That Elona sort of Spilled It All On Me." Masoma says, and in full disgust, prying a worm out of Her hair and slamming it to the ground. "Are You serious? That is extremely childish... and you know what? Now as punishment, you all are going to have to wake up EXTREMELY early as in the range for 4-6 AM In the morning to go worm searching for bait. This thing that was supposed to take a couple hours which is  already an exceptionally long period of time to begin with... is gonna take a Full day and half of one." Enzo Was Livid. Masoma looked like she wanted to cry right then and there. "Four To Six In the morning?..." Masoma was heartbroken. "But our sleep!-" Elona says. I turn to her and raise a brow. "Girl, Since when did you care about sleep?" Elona giggles. Masoma pouts and crosses her arms. "Well... never... but I'd rather sleep than go search for some stupid worms at 4 O'clock In the morning.." Masoma says.. I turn to Enzo, that gash looks pretty bad... I thought to myself. Even if he didn't want the help, It's' the safest route to help him on this. "Here. Let me patch you up. I know a thing or two about medical things, since my mom was a nurse." I say. He perked up, seeming a bit surprised as he tore his gaze away from his hand. He became awkward. I knew he probably wasn't the biggest fan of seeking help from others,  especially by younger kids he barely only knew for a day. I shuffle around through my backpack for the medkit. "Aha! There. Here. give me your hand." I was glad I was finally using the knowledge that was just previously sitting around. And I started to work on patching his hand.

W/ Oliver, In A Scientific Laboratory.

No One's POV/3rd Person:

Oliver had been put on a chain lead by Axon, who had seemed like the higherup of this Lab. Down the hall, There were Other Animals Held Captive. Majority of them Capybaras. All of The Animals Had been Injected with  whatever made them those feral Creatures. So had Oliver. Oliver had  looked around,  all he saw was animals and Workers, rushing around. He let out a low growl, he wanted nothing to do with this. Axon didn't care. They walked further down the hallway, until they came to a stop. It was a dark room, just nothing but a bowl of water and old meat. Axon shoved Oliver into the Room from behind.. Taking off the lead and shutting the door behind him. Oliver Paced back and forth. Sniffing the ground. He could hear  the sounds of the other animals, well mainly capybaras several rooms down. Maybe even some other dogs. He didn't know what would happen to him. He pawed the cold asphalt that lay beneath him. He was never a fan of raw ground to lay on. He was always used to laying on soft beds or half of that. He was more... dangerous now, moreso a little feral. But there was still that part of  that domesticated dog in the back of his mind. Deep down, he would still be that docile and young  pitbull he used to be. He sniffed the old and was most likely expired and  sad hunk of meat that was just limp in the semi-rusty bowl. He was definitely going to be treated like an scientific experiment instead of a pet. He took a small bite out of it. A hidden fly at the bottom of the bowl flew at him. Causing him to rear back in surprise and sneeze. He took five more steps back, eyeing the meat like it was the most dangerous thing in the world. Oliver snorted at the meat, nudging the bowl in a subtle manner, still remaining cautious. His nose twitched. He pawed the bowl and yelped when it tipped over. Still dramatic as ever, he ended up spilling the water bowl in the process as well. The water moistening the asphalt. He then took several steps back away from the food and water. Until someone came in.
To Be continued.
