The Incident: Book 7, Part 7.
W/ Mya, Oliver, Julian, Victor And Chad.
Setting: In The burned community.
No Ones' POV/3rd person:
After the argument, Everyone had been standing around Speechless, and Awkward.(For the most part.) Victor Sighs. "You Two done?" he says. Mya and Julian looked over at him. Mya looks at him in annoyance, And Julian only Nods to him. "Good." Chad Interjects. Victor Looks over at the residents that were in the community. He jabs a finger in their direction. "What're we gonna do about them?" He asks. Mya sighs, realizing that they hadn't thought that through yet. "I.. Don't know. But we're gonna have to figure something out." Mya says. Chad glances at Her. "I Suggest we should try and get rid of them." Chad says, and She looked at him like he was crazy. "What? No! I took them in, It'd be pretty crappy of me to just abandon them." Mya says, and Chad raises a brow slowly. "Some of them are adults, families, you know? They can take care of eachother." Chad argues back, and Julian raises his hands up, a silent interjection. "Don't start." Julian says, inhaling and exhaling in exhaustion. Victor looks Back over at the residents, and sees one Dumbfounded guy standing alone, wiping and looking at the blood that came from his ears that had smeared onto His Hands, surprisingly calm for someone to be in that kind of situation. Victor lightly put his hand on his shoulder, concern starting to show. "Yo, Dude, you alright? You got uh.. Blood coming out of your ears." Victor says. Chad scoffs and crosses his arms, averting his gaze rolling his eyes. "As If he doesn't already know that." Chad mutters, and Julian gave a humorless scoff. Oliver circles around before lying down at Mya's leg, as he pants and whines, sensing the lingering tension. "WHAT?! I CAN'T HEAR YOU! I GOT BLOOD COMING OUT OF MY EARS!" They same guy says, and Victor flinches, and Mya's gaze shot up. Chad mumbled a 'Told you, He knows.' "Alright, everyone, listen-" Mya says, but then a middle aged guy storms towards her, grabs her by the collar and slams her against the tree. "We Aren't listening to you, you brat. You almost got my family and everyone else killed!' He says, before his wife jogs over and tries to calm him, after successfully prying him off. "Love, we didn't know this was gonna happen-" The wife says, but then a white speck swayed down. Victor blinks, as If he was seeing this right. "Is That?..." Julian says. "Snow." Chad says, looking up at the sky, and several more snowflakes started to come down. The guys' grip released on Mya as he seemed surprised himself. "Holy... We haven't seen snow in like... forever!-" Julian chuckles, and looks down at the snow in amazement as a white sheet of snow starts to form on the ground.

20 minutes later.
Oliver had uncomfortably started to shift his cold paws on the ground, the snow numbing his pads. Despite him being a stocky and muscular huge mutant dog, he still had the mentality and personality of his old self, And Julian chuckled. "Not a huge fan of the snow, aren't you, bud?" He caresses the fur behind Oliver's ear. They had already heard the younger children excitedly talking about how they couldn't wait to try and see if they could make Snowmen or Snow Angels. "We Need to come up with a Plan.." Mya says, still eyeing the guy and his wife, along with their child not too far away from them casting glances at her and the rest of her friends theirselves. She swallowed hard before looking back at The others. "They can't come with us." Chad says to Mya, and Mya sighs, running a hand through her hair. "I Know, but exactly what do you want us to do right now?" Mya says, stressed. Chad took a Step closer, and Looked her up and down. "We needa do anything to get those strangers off our tails, and just focus on the five of us and the five of us alone, not several people and several families." Chad says. Mya sighs. "So you're saying we just wave goodbye and throw them to the wolves? Or... Mutated Capybaras In this case." Mya says. Honestly, at this rate, she wouldn't be surprised if she starts to see Zombies or three-headed capybaras running around. Oliver was living proof that this outbreak just doesn't affect capybaras "..." Chad pauses for a moment, then closes his eyes shut and shakes his head. "We just need to do anything, something, to just release the burden." Chad says. "This sudden snow storm isn't making things any easier. So we might almost have to even consider just dropping them cold turkey." he attempts to Explain, and Mya was going to speak, but Julian comes around, holding a box of what appears to be.. No way. Beer. "Julian.. No. What are you holding?" Mya sighs in disappointment. Julian shrugs. "Why? You don't want a swig of this?" Julian says, examining the beer box, lifting it by the handle, adjusting it to support it more underneath. "Who even gave you this?" Chad questions, flabbergasted. Julian sighs. "It was some random guy that was a resident in Mya's Community. It was supposed to be his 'Thank You' Gift to Mya, For, you know. For taking everyone in." Julian nods, and locks eyes with Mya who looked unamused. "But we can all chug on this later, right?" Julian says. Mya didn't answer. "So... everyone, Is apparently going their own separate ways. Just like that.." Mya mutters, watching the residents, single, old, young, families, and more, all heading onwards and deal with this situation, on their own, in their different ways. Victor and Oliver trailed shortly behind Julian. Flurries of snowflakes continued to come down. Mya had figured since those residents were moving on as well, then they should too. Before taking one last glance at what had been 'home' for so long, she Turns away and prepares to move on with their treacherous journey. Together.
