The Time Me And Dooka met a Crazy capybara: book 5, part 13.

W/ Corniyah, Elona & Masoma.

Setting: inside the old, beaten down, dark and eerie shop, down in the basement.

Masoma's POV/1st Person:

"...Uh oh." I heard Elona utter from behind me, and I Didn't Dare Turn around to look around to that mysterious and menacing voice and who it was. "U-Uh, Sir... We Don't Mean any harm... we just needed shelter-" Corniyah stutters nervously, so that couldn't be good. "Shelter?!" The voice in question had seemed surprised, defensive, and annoyed. "Ah... Y-Yes, Shelter.. We hadn't thought that anyone would be here, too..' I Swoop in and attempt to ease the tension here... but it seemed like it didn't work. Like at all. I finally managed to muster up the courage to turn around. I take a deep breath and turn around. It was a menacing, and unhinged looking man. He had looked right at me. Right in the eyes. "Why here." He only responded in an irritated tone. I glanced down at the gun he held in one hand. I Gulp. "Sir-" I start. He aims the gun at me almost immediately. "Don't say a word." He says. I swallow the lump forming in my throat. I look down and I only nod. I could almost feel the gun's presence slowly and reluctantly turn away from me. "You two." He says to Elona and Corniyah. "Answer the questions I ask you. Why are you here?" The man bellowed. Elona And Corniyah share intimidated glances. "I- we assure you that we're telling the truth. We had unintentionally stumbled across here, We're truly sorry, sir." Elona explains. The man Rolled his eyes. "Tell me who you are." The Man ordered, and Corniyah exhaled heavily. "I'm... Corniyah." Corniyah explains, then hooks a thumb towards my Direction. "That's Masoma," Corniyah introduces Elona Next. The man had only grunted at that. "So... if you don't mind us asking, who exactly Are You?" Elona seemed irritated. The man glared at Her. I sigh, knowing we're in a dire situation and this shouldn't be taken lightly, yet one of us is still being slightly bold and sassy. "Hm. Why do I owe any answers to you kids? You've done nothing good in the past few minutes." The Man says, Corniyah crosses her arms. "How So? Enlighten me." Corniyah Joined in with Elona's bravery but also stupidity. The mans' grip tightens on the gun. "Well, Lots of things... Maybe you all intruded, be disrespectful, beg for answers, and-" The Man grumbles out the barrage of things we had done that were 'supposedly' wrong. "So, What? You should expect that from people. It's natural, even if we come across as 'disrespectful.' and If you think what we've been doing is wrong, look down." Elona scolds angrily. The Man had chuckled and looked down at his gun. "Listen, sweetie. There's a difference. Being a jerk and a pain, and simply protecting your place. Him for example, it's a long story. But it definitely has something to do with revenge. Want to end up like him?" The man gestured to the dead, limp and foul smelling corpse in the chair we had seen earlier. "Yeah, I get it. What's your point?" Corniyah says, and the bad feeling intensified. I already know we're skating on wafer thin ice with this guy. And these snarky comments coming from Corniyah and Elona Definitely weren't helping. The Man sighed, shaking his head. "My Point is, if you don't want to lose your life, then respect my boundaries, at least as long as you stay here or whenever you want to leave." The Man says, voice filled with attitude and annoyance. This guy seems sketchy, but maybe it's a good thing he hasn't kicked us out or killed us... yet.

W/ Jace, Sgt. Rudo, Kennon, Mya, Julian & Karis.

Setting: out on the grassy field, currently facing the capybaras.

No One's POV/3rd Person:

"....What? Sgt. Rudo, what do you see?" Karis' Voice shakes with fear as she sees Sgt. Rudo Go silent and stare at something. "JULIAN!" Mya had yelled. The fear was evident in her tone as she had seen Julian getting attacked. Sgt. Rudo, Kennon & Karis Stared in horror. The Capybara tugged Julian by the hood of his hoodie and flung him across the field. He tumbled off into the green acres. "JULIAN, NO!" Mya started to charge after him, then tripped as something snagged her foot. Something sharp. She tumbled down hill and attempted to get up but then a burning sensation shot up her leg. She flopped back down, and Julian was currently limp in the fields. Mya exhaled and glanced back at her foot. Her entire leg was bleeding and it started from her foot and all the way below her knee. She grimaces and looks back at Julian who struggled to fight against the capybaras. Her head was throbbing and pounding, and she could've sworn she heard sgt. Rudo yelling something and footsteps running towards them. Thuds shook the earth below her and suddenly, she flew across the air as something tossed her up, sending her crashing into the most painful position, "Agh, What?!" She yelps. She heard labored and rugged breathing in her ear. She slowly turned her head. It was a capybara. Something in its eyes had a crazed, unhinged look. Almost like Enzo In capybara form, it was a cruel sight. Where are the others?... had rang in her mind. She heard Julian yelling in the distance. It sounded like the word 'help'. Or something. Her brain was too foggy to understand anything right now. I can't do this right now, I need to get to julian! She screamed in her mind, but every limb and nerve felt like it was being fried raw. "GUYS!!!" That was the only thing she could make out. It sounded like Karis Screaming and wailing, and Sgt. rudo's gun firing at the capybaras. She didn't know where Julian was, Or if he was safe. Or dead. Please, don't.. She started to lose consciousness, and everything went blurry. She knew the capybaras were coming. Could this really be the end for her and Juliian both?... was the only thing that rang in her mind alongside the pain of her leg and the throbbing sensation in her head. Soon enough, everything went dark.

Jace's POV/1st Person:

I grit my teeth in pure anger and frustration, no way I could lose them.... Why, Just why did this have to happen? And why to them? I grumble, taking my dagger out of my scabbard. "Rudo, Find Julian and Mya and take them somewhere safe. I'll take these on..." I growl. Sgt. Rudo seemed serious, and just as furious as I am. Karis was downright pouring with Kennon Hugging her. I was too blinded by rage to even pay enough attention to that. I Watch as Sgt. Rudo Sprint down hill. Fear and stress written all over his signature serious, militant-like face. I shake my head. I watched as a Capybara had spotted my presence, I stare it down. It hobbles over to me at an insanely fast pace. It might be stronger than me, but I know I could still take it on. With my training, I could. I have to. For my friends that could suffer from blood loss any minute. I charge back at it, and stab it through its jugular. Then another, then another, after another. Soon, all of them are dead. At Least I thought they were. Another tackled me from behind. I whip out a pocket knife and stab it into its flank. It screeches in agony and rears back. I take the shot and stab it repeatedly with the dagger. Long after it's dead, I stab it. "I HATE THIS! I HATE HOW THIS JUST HAD TO HAPPEN!" I yell in pure distress and rage. Kennon nods grimly. My hands were coated with blood. So where my clothes. The only thought that reaches my mind is that I hope my friends are okay.
