Clarke had told Lexa goodbye with another steamy kiss almost an hour ago now, and Lexa hadn't been able to focus on work since. Really, she hadn't been able to properly focus on work all day with her girlfriend teasing and tantalizing her every chance she got, but Clarke leaving her with a kiss like that to get ready for her trip to Oregon had really messed up any chances of getting any more work done.

Realistically, she knew she'd see the blonde again soon enough, and she was also aware that the other woman would have to get up incredibly early, which is why she hadn't asked to spend the night with her, but that goodbye from earlier had not been a proper goodbye. Lexa couldn't help but feel the need to see Clarke again before she left.

Sure, maybe that need was in a small part... Or in a large part brought in by the fact that there had been an uncomfortable wetness between her legs all day, but that was entirely Clarke's fault to begin with. So, she didn't care if she seemed needy or desperate, because she kind of was.

Lexa groaned out loud at the blonde's first messages where her own words were used against her, but the second one was just a little too much for her. She needed to see her girlfriend before she left, no matter what. And nothing needed to happen. She would be perfectly content just cuddling for a while. Or well, she'd be mostly content doing that anyway.

So, instead of working as long as she usually would, she called Lincoln into her office. "I need you to drive me to Ms. Grinfield's place right now, then you can take the rest of the evening off. I'll find my own way home," she tells the broad-shouldered man, who looks at her with a knowing smile.

"Yes, ma'am," is his only response before they both make their way to the car and then to Clarke's apartment.

"Be safe," Lincoln says with a wink as soon as they are in front of the apartment and Alexandria just shoos him off, not bothering to reply before ringing the doorbell.

The blonde doesn't even ask who is at the door, Lexa simply gets buzzed into the building, and she practically runs up several flights of stairs before knocking on Clarke's apartment door. It takes a minute for the blonde to open the door, but when she does, Lexa barges in with urgency, kicking the door closed behind her and instantly connecting their lips together.

The blonde gently pushes her away when she tries to deepen the kiss and says, "I have to pack, Lex. I am not finished."

Alexandria looks at the blonde and finally notices what she is wearing; a short, satin robe with a black lace bra underneath and clearly not much else.

Lexa groans and tries to kiss the blonde again, who dodges her plump lips with a mischievous smile.

The brunette knew for certain the blonde had worn this on purpose, knowing she was on her way over, just to mess with her head a little more and it was so incredibly frustrating, but also very hot.

But before Lexa can confront the blonde, the latter is already making her way into her bedroom, where an open suitcase with a few small stacks of clothes in it is splayed out on the floor.
