"Stop stressing out about this, Griffin. I know for a fact she will say yes," Anya says in mock annoyance. Well... Partial mock annoyance.

"How do you know? Did she say anything?" Clarke asks curiously, nerves coursing through her body.

"She would be a fool to say no," Anya simply responds.

"But what if she thinks it's too soon?"

"I am pretty sure she would have said yes even if you would have asked her right when you two started dating again this past summer."

"I don't think that's true... Oh god, I shouldn't do this. Not yet. It's way too soon. She'll probably think I have completely lost my mind and she'll end things with me. This was such a stupid idea," Clarke speaks, the panic in her voice and body rising.

"Clarke, get a grip. She will say yes. You spend almost every night together already as is, you made it through the Holiday season together, she's met your friends and family and although my little sister may not admit it, she loves them. And from what I have heard from you, they love her too."

"How could they not? She's probably the most lovable person I have ever met," Clarke mumbles, interrupting her boss.

"She will say yes," Anya continues, "Go home, prepare your dinner and whatever else you've got planned for her, please spare me the details on that, and ask her to move in together."

"Are you sure about this?" the blonde asks.

"Get out of my café before I drag you out that door myself. It's not a good look. I am afraid my near-perfect Google reviews will not survive the blow. This isn't a dive bar," Anya says threateningly.

"Okay..." Clarke says uncertainly, "I suppose I'll go."

"Everything will be okay, Griffin, I promise," Anya now says in a much gentler voice, "She will say yes, you will consummate the merger, and by this time tomorrow Alexandria will probably already have figured out where you two are moving together; her place, your place, or a new place."

"Oh no, I didn't even think about any of that yet. This is too much. She doesn't have the time to figure all of that out," the blonde now says, the short-lived moment of relative calmness in her brain quickly disappearing.

"Griffin... She always makes time for you, and she is happy to do it. Now go, seriously. Before you run out of time to get your dinner prepared and you'll start stressing out about that as well."

After taking a deep breath, Clarke finally pulls on her coat, and grabs her purse before walking out the door, ready to brave the cold weather outside and go home.

Lexa had been trying to offer up Lincoln's services so she wouldn't have to use public transportation in sweltering heat or freezing cold weather, but Clarke had mostly refused. She considered Lincoln a friend and this seemed like taking advantage of him even though Lexa royally paid him for his services. She also believed Lincoln's services as security at the Trikru Inc. building were much more important. Besides, she couldn't request a ride at 5 PM on a Wednesday. Lexa knew her schedule by heart, and she would think it odd for Clarke to travel home right now.

Clarke takes in the sky above her as she steps past the threshold.

She loved the snow, she didn't even mind the cold, but she absolutely hated how it would start getting dark at 4.30 PM during Chicagoan winters. It was awful coming into work in the dark and leaving work in the dark, it just made her feel like all she did was work, even though she does like her job.

However, there was nothing to be done about the natural ways of the sun and the moon and the weather and regardless of the darkness outside, tonight would be a great night.
