That next Monday, Lexa can be found at work once again and she's engrossed in reading some financial reports when a loud buzz interrupts her thinking.

Really, you'd think she would have learned by now to put her phone on silent, but what if someone needed her urgently?

Anyway, she was already annoyed with having to sort through these financial reports when she used to have someone do that for her, so this interruption certainly doesn't help her mood.

And it being her very own sister who is bothering her again is just the cherry on top.

And of course, her vexing sister can't just text her and act like a normal human being

And of course, her vexing sister can't just text her and act like a normal human being. Instead, her phone rings.

"My god, Anya, I am not in the mood for this."

"I don't care what you are in the mood for, Alexandria. What have you done?" Anya's angry voice sounds through the speaker.

The brunette rolls her eyes in annoyance, then coldly responds, "I have no clue, but I am sure you're about to tell me"

"You broke the girl"

"Who?"

"Clarke. Don't play dumb, Alexandria."

"First of all, why would you even think I had anything to do with this? And secondly, I didn't break anyone. She's not a computer or a robot," the CEO spits, growing angry herself now.

"Well, she sure has been acting like one and I know it's something you did or said because you are the only one who could make her act like this."

For a second, Lexa considers inquiring into what Anya is even talking about. But soon she decides it doesn't matter because she has better things to do, and this conversation needs to hurry up and be over.

"Okay even if that's true, this is my problem how exactly?"

"Lexa... The sister I know would have never messed with someone like this on purpose. And if you had, you'd do anything to try and fix it. This isn't like you."

"Maybe it is now," Lexa says with ice in her voice.

"I sure hope it's not because that would make you a lot worse than Clarke."

Finally, Lexa decides to ask. "What exactly is it you think I did?"

"That's what I am trying to figure out," Anya retorts and then the line stays silent for a while until Anya adds, "Alexandria, she looks like she hasn't slept in days, she hasn't as much as looked at her phone, and I haven't even seen her put on a fake customer service smile once today. And frankly, when she does speak, she sounds... I don't know, it's concerning. I am concerned about her."

"If she's a bad employee, you could just fire her. I still don't see why you are dragging me into this or how this is my issue now."

"Alexandria..." Anya says sternly, disappointment evident in her voice.
