Rocky's POV

I stepped out of Shivangi's room, freshly showered, hair still slightly damp. The air outside felt annoyingly cold compared to the warmth I had just left behind. Damn it, I didn't want to leave.

But Shivangi? She had practically pushed me out.

I smirked, remembering our little conversation just before she kicked me out.

"Babydoll, yaar, this is not right. I want to stay with you."

She had sighed, resting her forehead against my chest. "Even I want to, Rocky... but we can't."

I had pouted. "Why not? What's stopping us? Tradition? Rules? The fear of our nosy friends barging in again?"

She giggled. "Yes, and the fact that the girls are staying with me tonight. Now go before they come back and make fun of us for the next decade."

I had groaned dramatically. "Ugh, fine. But you owe me, Babydoll."

And now, here I was, stepping into the hallway, already missing her warmth.

As I turned toward my room, Adi and Ravi appeared out of nowhere, standing with their arms crossed and grins wide enough to put the Cheshire Cat to shame.

"Had fun, bro?" Ravi teased, wiggling his eyebrows.

I rolled my eyes. "None of your business."

Adi nudged Ravi. "Look at his face. Man looks like he just got kicked out of paradise."

I ignored them, making my way to my room. "Good night, idiots."

"Ooooh, someone's grumpy!" Jenny called from down the hall, clearly overhearing the conversation.

I flipped them off and slammed my door shut.

I leaned back against the door, exhaling deeply. A smirk tugged at my lips as I ran a hand through my damp hair.

Finally.

After everything we had been through-the fights, the heartbreak, the betrayals-we were here. Finally getting our happy ending.

It hadn't been easy. We had faced too many ups and downs, and there were moments when it felt like the universe was hell-bent on tearing us apart. But in the end, it was worth it. She was worth it.

I had no regrets.

Not for anything I had done. Not for the people I had destroyed to protect her. Not even her parents.

I had wanted to do worse-much worse. But life had already punished them enough. God had a way of making people pay, and for once, I had let fate handle things.

There were some things Shivangi didn't need to know. Some things were better left unsaid. I wasn't planning on telling her what I had done to them. She didn't need to carry that burden.

Shoving the thought aside, I pushed myself up from the bed and grabbed my phone. Dialing my secretary's number, I waited.

The call connected instantly. "Did you get what I asked for?"

"Yes, boss," came the crisp reply.

A satisfied smile spread across my lips. "Good." I hung up, hoping Shivangi would like the gift.

The next morning, I woke up feeling weirdly trapped. Heavy arms were draped over me, pinning me down. My brows furrowed as I shifted slightly.

Since when did Shivangi's arms get so heavy?
