19. Too much excitement

Hanni

I couldn't help but let out a giggle as Minji was now on a hospital bed. Smiling widely at me as she held my hand, never letting go. Despite the fact that she literally fainted at the park, she was acting as if nothing. She's just so...happy.

She didn't even care that she was indeed connected to a monitor, or that maybe she's not in proper health. All she cared about was me, eyes only looking at me. Ignoring everyone else.

"Hello, I'm Dr. Choi, I have received Minji's results." The man said as he walked in with his strong persona. Looking at me and Hyein, and now the couple whose eyes were scolding Minji. Haerin was ready to beat the crap out of Minji for scaring us like this.

"And now, you guys don't have to worry about anything, Minji's health is perfectly fine." The doctor said but I could sense the but somewhere there.

"But....Minji is a prime example of what too much excitement could cause." All of our jaw drops, besides Minji who was not paying attention to the doctor and just looking at me with heart eyes.

I looked at her in disbelief, did me making it official cause that much of excitement? To the point that she fainted?

"Her heart was racing as it had overreacted to an emotional trigger which then caused her blood vessels to open wide and caused her blood pressure to drop insanely. Which then reduces the flow of blood to the brain, later causing her to faint. We call this Vasovagal syncope." We all just sat there taking in the doctor's words.

"I'll keep Minji here for a little longer, to make sure she doesn't get another emotional trigger that could cause more than just making her faint." And with that he left us here all looking at Minji.

"What made you so happy, Minji? I don't even think Hanni accepting to be your girlfriend would cause you to faint." Oh, the irony.

"Well guess what, that's exactly what happened." I looked over at Haerin and Danielle whose jaws dropped once more as they turned to look at me. "Surprise?" I said as I lifted my hand that Minji is not letting go of.

"What the actual f..." before Haerin could finish her sentence, Danielle covered her mouth. "Since, uh, when?" Danielle asked as she looked between us.

"Two hours ago, can you believe she's my girlfriend?!" Minji looked at me so dreamily as she spoke, completely zoning out as she kept looking at me. "World to Minji?" Haerin snapped her fingers but there was no getting her eyes off me.

It was just so cute how infatuated she was with me right now. Her eyes sparkled as she kept staring at me. No one will ever look at me the way she does.

"Thank the lord they're finally together! You know, Minji made me pretend to be Hanni for a whole two hours! Like I love my aunt or whatever but she was driving me insane! She planned it out and kept repeating it like a hundred times to make sure I got the plan, she was practically begging me on her knees to tell Hanni to join us on her secret date. I don't know what she'd be doing without me, she's such a loser!" Hyein said flipping her hair to the side. She definitely got that from Danielle.

Who stood next to Haerin with their jaws on the ground as they looked at their daughter.

"Hey! She's exaggerating! I did not beg, I had asked her in the most calmest way possible." Minji said as she finally looked away from me and threw a glare at the kid across the room.
"Yeah totally, you were at the verge of crying if I said no." Hyein said sticking her tongue out at Minji who gasped.

"Plus, she was making me want to pull my ears out with how much she talked about Hanni. She could literally be standing there doing absolutely nothing and she'd be amazed and enchanted saying that Hanni is the most gorgeous woman on earth and how much she'd love to put a ring on that finger. Like go ahead lover girl I'm not stopping you from wifing the love of your life up." I turned to look at Minji who started to turn red like a tomato.

"When..when did I say that?!" Minji asked as she kept glaring at the girl. "Oh, you don't want me to pull out the evidence." Hyein challenged and Minji narrowed her eyes at her. "What evidence?" Minji asked surprised and Hyein shrugged.

"I might've or might've not voice recorded you in case you married Hanni one day, so I'd show her just how crazily in love you are with her. She's all you talk about!" Hyein said and all of our jaws dropped once more.

Hyein had no shame, she just keeps exposing the poor woman who tried to hide in her hospital bed. "I'm going to have you kicked out!" Minji warned but Hyein only sent her a flying kiss. "Hanni won't allow it, I'm the captain of this ship." And I could only laugh at the way these two kept throwing daggers at each other.

And with everything that Hyein was saying, I just couldn't believe I didn't choose her. This woman truly loved me from the start and I basically had the world at my grasp when I was with her. And I know I'll have the world again.

She'd give me the moon if I asked her.

"Okay, we're leaving before these two rip each other's heads off." Danielle said as she had to basically drag Hyein who made her way to Minji. "It's not over!" Hyein yelled as she was forced out the room. Haerin gave us both one last glance, clearly conflicted with what me and Minji are now.

But that's a topic for another moment.

I looked at Minji who was looking at me all shyly, Hyein was right she was such a loser.

My loser.

"Why do you keep looking at me like that?" I asked as Minji now stared at me again. "Because, you built my universe." She said with that same flirty smile she used to give me back then. And it still worked as it caused my cheeks to turn red.

I smacked her hand that reached out for my own, but later grabbed it. "Are you sure?" Minji asked and I furrowed my eyebrows at her. "That you want to be with me...again?" My heart broke with the way she looked at me.

"Of course, I'm so sure of this, Minji. I made my mistakes and I definitely learned from them. But this time I'm really not going anywhere, I'm here to stay with you till the end of time. And if you want me to prove myself, I will." I said squeezing her hand.

"I trust you, I always have. And right now, I'm trusting you to hold and keep my heart safe. My heart is yours to keep, Hanni. All I'm asking is for you to stay with me this time, don't leave me." Oh god, how could I have hurt such a sweet souls?

"I'm not leaving, Minji." I whispered as I leaned down, my hand went up to caress her cheek. Minji's eyes looked at me with curiosity and love. I gave her a small smile before I decided to seal our fate.

I'm never going to hurt her again, I broke her apart and I never deserved for her to stay by my side. But I'm going to keep her anyway. She's mine, the same way I'm hers.

I closed my eyes as I leaned in, and this is where I promise to love her for the rest of my life.

I pressed my lips over her own, I could feel fireworks going off inside me as I felt her hand land on the back of my neck, pulling me closer to her.

And in that moment, everything felt so perfect.

She's always been the one for me.
