VIGÉNERE

"Did you get the blueprint?" I ask Phoenix while I am fixing my hair.

"Yup! I've got everything. The security room is in the 5th floor" Masigla nitong sagot.

"Did you manipulate the CCTV cameras?"

"Of course. They are already doing it"

"Good"

Morphius was staring at me while I'm fixing my freaking clothes. I look at myself in the full-length mirror.

I shouldn't be going but I don't have choice. I was in a hurry so I borrowed Phoenix's clothes. Hindi lang talaga ako sanay sa ganitong suot.

"Oh my God!"

I shoot deathly stares at Phoenix who's laughing her ass out while watching me.

"Hindi ganiyan 'yan. Dapat 'yong strap ay nakalaylay lang" She instructed and remove the sleeves in my shoulders.

"Para mo na akong hinuhubaran" Inis kong saad at ibinalik ang sleeves ng damit sa taas ng balikat ko.

"Hayaan mo lang kasi, hindi naman mahuhubad 'yan" She insisted and remove the sleeves again.

Hinayaan ko na lang ito dahil siya naman ang may alam sa damit. I wear the stiletto that she gave me. Lumayo ito sa akin at pinagmasdan ako.

"Kyaaah! I never thought that you'd look like this. Hindi ako sanay na ganiyan 'yong suot mo" She said while eyeing me from head to foot. "Kapag ikaw ang sumakal sa 'kin ako pa mag-s'sorry sa 'yo" She added that made me squint my eyes.

"Is that a compliment or you're making fun of me?"

"Huuy hindi a. You're really gorgeous. Kapag ikaw ang nakalaban ko kaagad na akong susuko at luluhuran pa kita" She even kneeled in front of me and raise both of her hands.

"Shut up. You're annoying. Masyado ka ring OA"

"Hindi ako OA. I'm telling the truth. Tiyak maraming ma-i-in love sa 'yo do'n. Right, Morphius?" Bumaling ito kay Morphius na walang imik na pinagmamasdan lang ako. Seryoso rin ang mukha nito.

Tinaasan ko ito ng kilay.

Tumango-tango lang ito at umiwas ng tingin. I finished up my look and grab the 2 needles and put it in my hair. I also put underneath my clothes. This is the only weapon that I can use right now.

"Let's go" Wika ko kay Morphius na tanging tango lang ang isinagot sa akin.

Morphius cleared his throat. "Blaine, do you really need to go there?"

"Yeah"

Napatigil ako sa paglalakad ng hawakan niya ang siko ko. Napatingin ako sa kaniya.

"You don't have to do this. Hindi mo naman kailangang pumunta do'n ngayon"

Inalis ko ang kamay niya sa braso ko. "I already made up my mind. Tatapusin ko ang sinimulan niyang ito"

"Is this still about your father's death or..." Mabilis ko siyang tiningnan. "...you are doing this because of him?"

Sarkastiko akong natawa. "That is ridiculous. He was just part of the story. My main goal is knowing the real truth behind my father's death"

Napabuntong hininga ito. Hindi na siya umimik kaya't tinalikuran ko na para umalis.
