Olivia's pov:

I spent a restless night in my room.

When the clock reads seven, a knock comes to my door and it opens without waiting for my response.

I need a lock!

"Ah! You're awake! You're already late, my dear."
Says the maid.

"Late? It's seven in the morning! Seven is late?"

"The household starts at five."

That's stupid, yet I'm biased because I've never been a morning person.

When I get up and head for the door in my pyjamas, she makes a small noise of warning.
I look back at her.

"You'll want to change, my dear. This house dresses for its meals."

Yep this household is ridiculous.

I roll my eyes and head for my closet to get changed.

No one is downstairs in the hall when I walk down the stairs.
I hear noise at the end of the hall and I push through the little door there.

I blink in surprise as I suddenly find myself in a gigantic kitchen filled with people.

"Olivia!"
Jack face lights up. I can't help but returning the smile, he so cute sometimes.

"Hey" I say.

"Are you hungry?"

My stomach answers for me giving a big growl.
He laughs lightly as we sit in the dining room next to the kitchen.

"Good, we'll get you something."
Hey says, raising a hand to signal to someone.

The room is just buzzing with people.

"It's so busy in here, how do you deal with it so early in the morning?"

Jack looks around and shrugs.

At that moment, I'm shocked, again, to see Kent come around the corner from the kitchen carrying a big plate of food.

"Good morning, Olivia."
Kent says, placing the plate in front of me.

"Did you.... Did you make this?"

"Surprised?"

I whip my head up to see that he's smirking at me.
Truly, I was surprised.

"An Italian can't call himself a man if he can't cook his own breakfast. Breakfast he'd feed his mother, at that."

"Well, you haven't put poison in my food, have you?"

Kent laughs, noticing that my question wasn't a joke.

"Do you want some coffee?"
Jack asks me.

I nod and he looks up at his dad.

"She takes cappuccino. Is anyone free -"

"I'll see it's done. Eat up girl."
Kent says before heading back to the kitchen.

I pick up my fork and start eating.

A few minutes later, Kent comes back with a my cappuccino that he slides next to my plate.

"Thank you" I say quietly.
