—Author's POV

"He changed, like he is a complete different person sometimes, but... but he is still... looking at me."

"Yes, I'm."

Before Bakugo could react to the deep and calm voice that came from right beside his ear giving him this bone shivering feeling... everything went black.

...

When he woke up sitting up in his bed he looked around his room frantically, like he just rose from a nightmare.

"I-Izuku?!"

He screamed sitting in his bed, the room not cold but comfortably warm as he is tucked in his bed under the cover, wearing a baggy short and nothing else.

He girp his blanket as the tears rolled down his cheek...

"W-what *Sob* what the fuck is this?!" He cried hitting the space between his legs while crying.

But once he started calming down he grab his phone seeing it's already the next morning so he had no choice but to get up and go to school.

...

He glance at himself in the mirror.

His hair a mess looking as if it's a slightly bit wavy and his spikes do not seem as sharp as usual.

He looks tired.

Around his eyes dark yet reddish, like someone put make up on him but that can't be since he had taken a shower.

Yet no matter how unbelievably tired he looks he did not feel that tired, he felt empty and upset as well as a bit confused and a little bit angry.

He felt like he is completely abandoned as he left his home locking the door making his way to school.

He shiver while walking as he had forgot to put something warmer on but he wasn't about to go back just get a jacket.

He just stroll to school and try to find the remaining of his memories of the previous night.

The tears constantly wanting to slip as he felt frustrated, like he is tightly chained down hating the feeling.

Yet he couldn't do anything.

He didn't want to come to school but he felt way too responsible for Kaneko by now so he couldn't just bring himself to abandon her.

As they had even exchange phone numbers for the weekends, and yes.

They did text a little bit.

He never promised her anything, but even so.

He hated himself for that too, taking on a responsibility such as that girl.

Interesting though he had learned that the girl, Kaneko is actually a year younger than everyone in the class as she had skipped a whole year do to her academics in school.

And he also found out that her birthday is on the same day as Midoriya's.

And even though he did not want to notice he could tell, he could see the signs of how the girl life must be at home.

He wasn't stupid.

It honestly just made sense why she is acting the way she is, at least why she just used to hang around with those bitches from school even though she would be just strolling behind them like a lost puppet....

Being dragged on by the tearing threads... but they got ripped apart by Midoriya.

No longer being dragged on by the past...

She is no longer a puppet.
