—Author's POV

The lessons continued and Midoriya got quite the earful from the girls for not showing up and spending time with them at the cafeteria.

Midoriya told the girls the nurse wasn't around and Kaneko passed out so he didn't want to leave her alone but the nurse did show up once the bell rang so he could leave while Kaneko stayed at the infirmary skipping a class.

When Midoriya walked into the classroom surrounded with the girl his eyes immediately met with red ones staring at him.

Even when he looked away after a few seconds that felt like forever he could still feel that pair of eyes on himself, watching him without break.

Of course everyone glance at him and stare at him for a few seconds longer, but Bakugo never looked away like the rest.

And Midoriya could feel the difference between the class of students and the ash blond gaze.

The blond with those ruby red eyes of his was and is different, completely different and Midoriya knew that.

Regardless, he broke the eye contact and sat down at his seat and went on with his day.

...

Kaneko kept wondering, once back in class she also kept staring at Midoriya which pissed some girls off but they knew, the small girl had no chance with Midoriya so they didn't say anything about it.

...at least not on the lesson but they did give her the side eye.

But Kaneko couldn't care about it, she kept thinking about her weird conversation with Midoriya, the boy she had never talked to before.

Midoriya compare to the other kids seemed normal, but if she had to compare him to his 'old' self then he is definitely anything but normal.

He is weird, more than weird.

She couldn't put her finger on it but it kept bugging her how different he is.

He is a completely different person.

And their conversation kept repeating in her head like a broken record.

Then again, weirdly enough, she did not hate talking to Midoriya like she usually would hate talking to other people.

Midoriya seemed so easy going and like a clueless idiot but she knew the truth, he was being sharp.

But as she kept thinking about it she couldn't help but wonder what's really going on with him.

Why is he being like this?

Why is he still smiling at the girls?

Why is he not saying a single word about the truth?

Why is he so friendly to everyone?

She told him, she told him everything she knew so why is he like this?

She thought he really stopped being like how he used to be after he beat up that boy with his lunch box but guess she was wrong?

Or maybe it's just the amnesia that's making him like this?

Even though she told him all, maybe cause he doesn't have his actual memories he can't feel it and understand it properly?

So, maybe he can't react to it yet... like how he should?

Maybe... or maybe not.

Who knows...?

Well, the answer is no one else.

No one else knows the things he had told her, or the things she had told him.

And that weird superiority feeling he give off, like he is above all else although he did not talk with that kind of tone his presence talk miles in his place.

'He is weird...'
